Fearless-Factor - Psalm 118:6
Are you selfish? Are you afraid to share? These are things we learn as children. To not be selfish and to share. When was the last time you shared the most precious thing you had? Fear can hold us back from doing the most simple thing. Sharing! When we were children we were afraid of sharing because we thought we may never get our most precious belonging back. So we kept the most valuable item we owned to ourselves. Many Christians are the same with their relationship with Christ. They hold tight to the promise that Jesus died for their sins but, not openly sharing this gift they have. Jesus' gift is for all of us and we are afraid to tell the world. Why??? Fear of what people may think of you. They may call you names behind your back, call you a Bible Banger, a Jesus Freak, a Holier than thou person. I have been called much worst in my BC (Before Christ) days, that I don't even repeat now. Jesus is not a secret, why are we so afraid to talk about him. We are bold when we are in church or a Men's Breakfast or Retreat. Why are we so afraid to speak outside of our comfort zones? Be Fearless about what you know, Don't be Silent about the truth. The Bible isn't bad for business, so don't leave your faith at home. The Fearless Factor for today is Psalm 118:6 "The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Be Fearless and Quiet No More. Your Brother in Christ, Trey Ore
