Do you watch t.v. and ever get envious of that lifestyle? Do you see some of these movie stars, and ask yourself, why them and not me? Do you see others around you (non-believers) and ask why are they blessed? Don't sweat it. God will give you the desires of your heart. But first you need to Trust Him. The Fearless Factor for today is Psalms 37:3 "Trust in the Lord and do good: dwell in the land and enjoy safe pastures." When we see Hollywood, we see only what they want us to see, a cameras view. We don't see the rest of the picture. Or at least not until it is too late. We see more tragedy than peace in their lives. We see Divorce, Alcohol abuse, Drug Abuse, and Suicide. Is this what you want too. Now are you envious? I'm not. The grass is not always greener in others lives. Its just they have a fresher coat of paint to cover things up. When the flood in their lives come, and it always does. The covering is washed away and the truth is shown. Psalms 37: 1-2 says "Do not fret ... or be envious of those doing wrong, for like grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away." Our pasture may not have the expensive designer feel of the Lime-Light Lifestyle, but God has provided a safe pasture for us. If we Delight ourselves in the Lord and do what He asks of us, God will give us the Desires of our hearts. We need to Trust God, Our Heavenly Father knows best. Be Fearless and Quiet No More.
