Fearless-Factor - 2 Timothy 1:7

Here is the Fearless-Factor Verse for today. 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline."
What is it to be timid? It is an adjective meaning lacking of self confidence, fearful and hesitant. This section of the bible is a charge from Paul to Timothy to be bold for Christ. Paul is saying The Spirit of fear is not something you learned from God, this is a worldly thing. God is powerful, loving and patient. These are three things I am not on my own. I am weak in a lot of areas, I am hard to love sometimes, and I am not a patient person. Do you think he was talking to me or even you?
Are you afraid to say the name of Jesus to other? Does it bother you when you heard the name of God misused? Why is it that we are afraid to use the name of Jesus Christ in the proper text, but the world and Hollywood can use it as an interjection. Show the world how to speak. How to speak truth. Jesus is not an interjection.
Do Not Be Ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus name. Don't be afraid of showing the world the proper us of the name of Jesus.
Be Fearless and Quiet No More.
Your Brother in Christ,
Trey Ore
