Fearless-Factor - Daniel 10:19

Are you afraid of new beginnings? Does the thought of starting over scare you? Why does the thought of something new frighten us so much?
With this being the last day of the year the thought of new year resolution comes to mind. I think of all of the past resolutions I have made and forgotten several months or weeks later. Do New Year resolutions really make us change? Do we really work on them or are we just fooling ourselves.
This time I want to challenge myself and I want to challenge you. Take a moment...sit and be still think about the last year. Think of the things you have done. Thing of the fun trips, think of the people you have met and the friends you have made. Truly take a moment to think about this. Now think of the opportunities God has placed before you. These can be blessings of a financial nature or a personal walk with him nature. Now reflect on the missed opportunities you have passed up. The moments of Silence just being with Him, but the TV was on or the radio or any number of opportunities the world offers just to distract you for the one thing that deserves all of our attention... God Almighty Himself!!! Think of the missed chances to introduce the Author of Life to someone that doesn't know Him.
The Fearless Factor for today is Daniel 10:19 "Do not be afraid, O man highly esteemed," he said. "Peace! Be strong now; be strong." When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, "Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength."
God will not give you a commission and leave you alone to do it. He Promises to be there with you always. He will give you the strength and the words to do His work. With the year drawing to a close and the new year ahead. Let this new year be one of New Beginnings. Let your New Year's Resolution be one that God has chosen for you this year. If you allow God to select your New Year's Resolution, He will give you the strength to see it through till the end. Allow the Author of Life to write the next year of yours. "Speak my Lord, since you have given me strength."
Be Bold and Quiet No More.
Your Brother in Christ,
Trey Ore
