Are you afraid to speak to other because you are not ready for a possible confrontation? Do you feel ill equipped to do verbal battle for God? Does your knowledge of Him hold you back?
Fear Not, you are not alone on this. Many Christians do not share their faith because they feel if they are asked a hard question they will lose the verbal battle for Christ. Here is the Great news, the battle is not ours to win or lose. This is God's battle and He chose you to be on the front line to honor Him. God does not judge us on how many people we lead to the Lord. As a Christian there is no quota.
The only thing God asks of us is to tell others about Him. Not every ear will hear the first time. This is not a game show where there is only one winner. We are all winners and we should want to share our Grand Prize of Jesus Christ with everyone. We may not all hit a home-run every time, but remember even a walk gets on base.
The Fearless Factor for today is 2 Chronicles 20:17 "You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.' ".
When you are doing God's will there is no need to fear, for God is with you. He will never leave you alone. So fulfill your purpose in life and tell others of what Jesus Christ has done for you, this may just open the door for you to lead someone to the Savior. Go out and be ready to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.
