Fearless-Factor - 1 John 4:18

A tactic the enemy uses is doubt and fear. If you are like me, you're not perfect. The devil knows this and the good news is so does God. That is why he sent his Son to die for all the sins you and I have done and will do. Now this is in no way a free pass, because when you accept Christ a change has been made. As I have said before, Christ doesn't live in a run down building. Here is my question for you. How come we are so afraid, if Jesus resides in us. The Bible says, God is Love (1 John 4:16), Whoever lives in love, lives in God and God in him. 1 John 4:18 says "There is no fear in love." John just flat out says, God isn't afraid of anything. Now this is the person I want in my corner. He isn't afraid of death, He isn't afraid of bills, the mortgage, the tax collector, getting hurt, nothing. God is not afraid. (4:18) continues to say "But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." I know I am a work in progress (1 John 4:18) confirms it. Yes, I am a work in progress. Until I am fearless with Jesus, I have a way to go. God is continuously driving out fear in me, because of the thoughts the enemy sends me of conditional love. God's Love is Perfect and God love is Constant. God said "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5), "Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matt. 28:20) To be anything else wouldn't be true love and not a characteristic of God. That is the lie or the fear factor the enemy uses. The fear of God's Judgment. Here is the exciting news. Jesus took all of your sins, not just some of them, but all of them with him on the cross. The reason Satan is so angry is that Jesus Christ kicked in the doors of hell tossed in your sins with no soul to keep. Satan lost the battle for you when you excepted Christ. There is no turning back, so the enemy will try to scare you with daily worries and that your eternity is still uncertain. Perfect Love (God) drives that fear out. Let go of your Fear, and Let God take care of it. Worrying about isn't goes to fix it. But God can!!! The Fearless Factor for today is 1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear". Be Fearless and Quiet No More.
