Fearless-Factor - 1 Peter 5:7
Do you ever wonder if you truly matter to God? Does God even know I am here? Insignificance is a heavy burden to carry. From an early age we learn about significance to other people. Do people know who I am, do they like me, do they even care I am alive? In High School, this need for significance multiples to the height of our being. We need to know where we fit in. This need for purpose is the definition of who we are as a person. Suicide is high among people who are overwhelmed by the insignificance they feel to others around them. Even those who are not suicidal feel the need to matter to others. The encouraging word is that we all matter to God. Some of us are very successful in society's standards and others of us are average. However, to God the Creator, Our Heavenly Father we are all the same. God doesn't play favorites. The sign of a Great Parent is they make every child feel that they are the favorite and that is how God parents. We matter to God. Each star in the sky has a name and God knows them all. Isaiah 40:26 says "Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name.Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing." God know you by name too. He knows you are here, He created you and every hair on your head. If anxiety has you worried about your significance to God, take note. The Fearless Factor for today is 1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." He cares for you so much that he is willing and able to handle all of your anxious moments and give you peace. Why does he do this?....Because he Cares for each and everyone of us. Be Fearless and Quiet No More. Your Brother in Christ, Trey Ore
