Fearless-Factor - John 16:33

Well, Here it is, a milestone for the Fearless Factor. Fearless Factor #50. God has changed me over 50 days how about you? We now have 50 promises to help us become Fearless for Christ.

Peace - It is what God uses to combat fear. This is the feeling of comfort in a bad situation. This is a feeling that only comes from God.
We all face different struggles in our life. We all have different things that worry us. We all have our nerves that overreact to certain situations. However, their is a cure for the common nerves. The Peace of Jesus Christ.
I have had headaches for 2 weeks straight accompanied by ear pain and mouth pain. I felt like I was falling apart. These pains were not constant but when it hurt, it hurt. I went to the doctor and he said it was an ear infection. I took medicine, but it still hurt. Yesterday I went to the dentist. The dentist was puzzled. He had never seen anything like it. Not words you want to hear from a doctor. He sent me to a specialist that saw me within 20 minutes. Now, I was a little worried. Then I was sent back for a second opinion, then to another specialist next door. I was getting nervous. I told myself, Self "the proof is in the pudding". The Bible says what can man do to me. I then took a moment to pray. How is it that after a phone call these specialist were open to seeing me ASAP. This must be serious. I was there till 5:30, seen 3 different doctors. During one test the pain was so bad and sharp, I said doctor you have got to do something about this pain or Christ please come and get me. The end result was a tooth extraction. So far so good.
I wasn't amazed at the fact my heart wasn't racing, or that I wasn't scared. I for the first time in my life was fearless. I had Jesus' Peace because I asked for it.
This situation is minor to some that others are facing. I just know that Jesus' Peace works. For the small things and the large things.
The Fearless Factor for today is John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
There is nothing on this planet that God can't overcome. You just need to give it to him.
