With the season approaching, is Christ your Joy? Is the Holiday Season a sad time for you or maybe someone you know?
For many people, Christmas isn't the most joyous season of them all. It isn't because of the tinsel and lights not brightening there day, it is because of one of two reasons. Death or the Holiday has let them down.
Let me explain. Of the Billions of people on the earth, there are still only four seasons. We all know the reality that we all must die. The winter season is 1/4 the year. 25% of people loss a family member or a friend during this joyous holiday. For them it is a reminder of their loss, especially the the following year.
The Holiday also has the tendency to build us up for this huge spectacular event only to stop on December 26th. The Christmas season can be such a let down. Well it is for those that don't truly understand the story. Jesus is the Reason for the Season, but he doesn't stop on December 26th.
The Joy of the Lord is our strength. What better time now than to share it. Christ is not a once a year spectacular. Jesus is Alive. Who was born on Christmas day to bring Hope to the Hopeless, Joy to replace the Sadness, to bring Life to Death and Salvation to the Sinner. What a Great Story to Tell !!!
What are we so afraid of? Go and Wish a Merry Christmas and be ready to talk about it. Joy to the World the Lord has come, let not keep it a secret the World needs to know.
The Fearless Factor for today is Psalms 94:19 "When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul." People need the Joy of the Lord, If you as a believer are not sharing it, who are they going to hear it from?
Be Fearless and Quiet No More.
