Fearless-Factor - John 14:1

Does your past haunt you? Do you fear your never going to be good enough? Is your past like chains in your present? We are all born into sin. I was imperfect the day I was born. To my parents that was the only day I was perfect, I think I have had a few others but they don't come to memory very quickly. I say this to comfort you in the present. The devil has no future, so he uses our past to scare us. The devil can remember every sin, every mistake every back slide and every impure thought you have ever had. He has a case against each of us. Now for the promise...Jesus has enough Grace to cover all of our sins and then some. Jesus' Grace is Amazing. If I told you some of the things I did in my past, the majority of you would never have called me friend and my Mother would probably have a heart attack. I was not as bad as others I knew but I was no saint. My past haunts me often. I think of the people I have hurt and it hurts me to think about it. I have used up my fair share of Grace, but the great news is Jesus has an extra stash of Grace put aside for me and you. Chris Tomlin has a song called "Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)"
Amazing grace How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like meI once was lost, but now I'm found Was blind, but now I see'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear And grace my fears relievedHow precious did that grace appear The hour I first believedMy chains are gone I've been set freeMy God, my Savior has ransomed meAnd like a flood His mercy reigns Unending love, Amazing grace
The promise is the last 4 words - UNENDING LOVE, AMAZING GRACE.
This hymn was rumored to be based on Ephesians 2:4-9 " 4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions, it is by grace you have been saved. 6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. 9not by works, so that no one can boast."
The Fearless Factor for today is John 14:1 " Do not let your heart be troubled; Trust in God; trust also in me"
We all have had a past, and through Christ we have a future. Amazing Grace...How Sweet the sound.
Be Fearless and Quiet No More.
Your Brother in Christ.
