Have you every wondered what it means to love another? What does this truly mean? Are you afraid of loving the unlovable? Love???... what does this have to do with fear. Love has everything to do with fear. God's love washes away all fear. God's love is what keeps us safe from the fears in our lives. God so loved the world that he gave His only son. What more can Love do? He gave his son as a living breathing sacrifice for those who trust and hope and believe in Him. Love is a powerful tool. The thing about love, is that it is given with nothing expected in return. Think about this for a moment. Who do you love? Your Spouse, your daughter or son? Why do you love them? Your love for them is not conditional. You don't love your children because they are going to give you a tax break at the end of the year. You don't love them because you get to take care of them each day and put them through college? You love them unconditionally because they are a blessing from God. God loved us so much that He gave us hope. When we were in the trenches of our lives, He met us at our greatest need and loved us and didn't expected anything in return. Seriously, what could we ever offer Him in return? Our sin filled lives, ...His son Jesus was perfect, why would he want a sinner? The Answer...He Loves Us. We are precious to Him. He loved us so much that the only way to save us and be with us was to sacrifice His own son. I am in AWE of his LOVE for you and me. The Fearless Factor for today is Psalms 147:11 "The Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love."
What does this mean to you and me? The Lord loves it when we His Children are in such awe of Him, that we are not afraid to place our hope in Him and His unfailing, never ending, all powerful love. Our God loves us, the unlovable and undeserving. Some times it is important for us to take a moment and love one another as Christ loved us. As a Christian, we shouldn't be hanging just with the likeable but the unlikable too. How much did Jesus love them?... from one scarred hand to the other. Jesus didn't die for the popular people, He died for the unpopular people. For me that is the good news, because I was never the popular one. Until Christ, I was always second best. With Christ, We are all number in his book. Go tell somebody.
Be Fearless and Quiet No More.
Your Brother in Christ,
Trey Ore
