Fearless-Factor - Proverbs 29:25

Do you get distracted? Does fear cause you to be engrossed in things that don't matter? The Fearless-Factor for today is Proverbs 29:25 "Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe." Let's break this Fearless-Factor down. Fear of Man will be a snare. What is a snare? By definition a snare is a contrivance often consisting of a noose for entangling birds or mammals (2) something by which one is entangled, involved in difficulties, or impeded (3) something deceptively attractive. The Fear of man will distract, entangle and increase difficulties for your life. What can man do to you? This fear of man can and will distract you, cause you to worry about things that aren't important. It will also keep you from what you should be doing. But whoever Trusts in the Lord is kept safe. God is our shelter and shield from whatever the world tries to discourage and distract us with. Have you ever had that day when you were trying to juggle to many things and a few dropped. Did the world end? No it did not. Fear of man will cause you to think this way. Trust that God is in control and He will see you through. God doesn't want us to stumble or fall. He is there to pick us up and keep us safe. No matter how rough it gets. He will always be there, Trust in His Divine protection. All God's promises are "Yes" and "Amen" (2 Corinthians 1:20).
