The Power to seeming walk through doors?

Power is an interesting thing. Men see power in the influencing of others. God sees power in the ability to submit to Him.

Are you ready willing and able to submit to God and his will for your life? It is not easy and could cost you your earthly life. Are you willing? Paul, was speaking what God has told him too, and performed miracles in Jesus' name. These acts made the Sadducees very anger. So they locked him in jail to face trial. Here is where the super powers comes in Paul. He was in jail and the door just opens, an angel of the Lord opened the jail gate and told him to go and preach in the center of town the next day.

So when the guards came to get Paul, he was gone, but the jail door was locked. It was like he just walked through the jail doors. They later saw Paul in the center of town preaching and the guards then took him before the Sanhedrin and Paul stated in Acts 5:29 "We must obey God rather than men!" That is our Fearless Factor for today.

We must obey God rather than mortal man. Our power comes from the ability to submit to God. The men saw the power in the speaking of God's word. In reality, both are extremely powerful. Instill the Lord's word in your heart and be a powerful Child of God. God has the power to open doors that to all others seem locked. What a mighty God we serve.

Fearless-Factor - Psalm 91:11

Justice League Unlimited

As a child I grew up on the Justice League and the Super Friends. This was a group of Super Heros who would band together to fight evil, where ever it may be. But it would always take the powers of all of them combined to defeat this evil.
God has an elite army, better than any Justice League team ever formed. If we make the Lord our refuge, our "Hall of Justice" the Bible promises that no harm will fall on us and no disaster will come to us. The Fearless Factor for today is Psalms 91:11 "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

God is the leader of the greatest force ever known, if He is on your side all of your ways are protected. For you are His most precious possession, nothing will ever happen that God Almighty can not protect you or deliver you from.

Is it hard to believe in someone with super powers?

Every time I go to a Summer Blocker about a Super Hero, people walk out amazed. They say things like, "Man that was awesome, I wish that where real" or "I wish I could do that". They are not far from the truth.

Super Powers are mentioned in the Bible multiple times. I am going to just compare a few. In this time and age people all go to the movies and they have become part of our culture. The X-Men had a group of heros with all different kinds of power. One was Wolverine. He had the ability to heal himself. In X-men 2, he was shot in the head, and within a few minutes we healed. This is a cool power, but a bit selfish. He only would heal himself. My Super Hero is willing to save us all if we only believe. My Super Hero healed the blind by giving them sight. My Super Hero made the lame able to walk. My Super Hero healed a wounded Roman Soldier after one of His own men cut of the guards ear. My Super Hero healed His enemy. My Super Hero is Jesus Christ.

The next time you see a Super Hero Summer Blockbuster just imagine how powerful your Super Hero is Jesus Chris is. and Remember the Bible is no Comic Book, This book is the Real Deal.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Revelation 22:17 "The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, Come! Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life."

Fearless-Factor - Romans 10:13

I mentioned a week ago I was working on a short Fearless-Factor series and here it is.

Super Hero...Who needs them? We do.

We look in the sky...Its a bird, its a plane, its...

We are all in need of someone to save us. We look everywhere for hope. We look everywhere for better fortune. But, it all turns out the same, bad things happen to God's people. Why is it that the people we see who are not saved seem to be the ones with the big house, nice boat, and life in earthly standards in order.

Simply put...the devil does focus on things that don't matter. If you are focused on your relationship with Christ, a bulls-eye is set on you. Yes, you are a target. The Ultimate bad guy is coming after you. What can you do? Who will save you?

Look up in the sky...Its a bird, its the universe, it "The One" who created them both...It's God Almighty. God knew we would be under attack so he has sent His angels. Psalms 34:7 "The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them."

God has an army and He is in control of many legions of angels and is ready to sent His angels to encompass you to protect you just in the nick of time. Let me put it to you this way. If Superman caught a person falling of a 100 story building on floor 99 it would loss its flare, but if he caught you at floor 5 you knew he was doing something powerful. You were 5 floors from death and He swoops in and saves you. We are all close to the pavement when Christ swoops in and saves us. It is not that it takes Jesus that long to save us, it is just that it takes us that long to call on him. The Fearless-Factor for today is Romans 10:13 "for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Just like the worship song we sing in church. We need you Jesus come to our Rescue. We else can we go. No other name by which we are saved. Capture me with Grace...So when in trouble, don't scream out "somebody save me". Instead, Call on the only name who actually can...Jesus Christ.

Fearless-Factor - 2 Corinthians 3:18

Transformers...More than meets the eye.

What does it mean to be Transformed? Websters dictionary says Transform is "to change in composition or structure b: to change the outward form or appearance of c: to change in character or condition." As a Christian what does it mean to be Transformed the best verse to describe this is the Fearless Factor for today, 2 Corinthians 3:18 "And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."

The Spirit? The Holy Spirit is what is changing us into Christ Like examples? IS IT IN YOU? The Disciples of Christ were Transformed. Not by just being with Jesus, remember these men walked and talked with Jesus they saw more miracles than were recorded. Even John says they couldn't write down all of the mirarcles they were witness to, the journals would be to large. But, after the crucifixion they went on with there life as fisherman and their various previous professions. It was not until Acts 2:4 that they were transformed. Here they became More than Meets The Eye. Peter was not afraid, John was more Bold. These are not the same men from the Gospels in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. These men were filled with the Holy Spirit. They were Fearless and Quiet No More. No longer did death have a grip on their lives. They knew their purpose. The Holy Spirit filled their very being and they began to do thing like never before. Miracles yes, but to speak in other languages as the spirit enabled. They didn't stop and go to college to learn a new language, they didn't go out and buy Rosetta Stone language cd's to study, and they didn't go to seminary. These men were TRANSFORMED by the Holy Spirit.

Are you ready to be Transformed. Matthew 7:7 talks about Ask, Seek and Knock. Ask the Holy Spirit to grant you the transformation into what God has made you for. God is no different today than He was at the creation of the Universe. He is Just as Powerful and Just as Loving. The Holy Spirit is ready, willing and able to Transform you. The Question is are you ready to be Transformed.

Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?

Life offers many different roads to travel on. Some roads are an up hill climb, until you reach the top for a wonderful view and a well deserved rest on the top, enjoying your journey. For others, the road seems more dismal and a constant down hill journey with only the bottom to look forward to. The bottom of the road has nothing to offer just a period of sorrow and frustration as they look back on where they have been a focus just on the past. Remembering the journey but not thinking of how to get back to where they once were. These are often people who love the company on the bottom, like it is said...Misery loves Company. Then there are those who are trapped in the tunnel of life. The days go by like the over head lights in a tunnel. One after another after another. The days are all the same. Will there ever be a view that is uplifting to the soul, besides the concrete walls that surround us.

Then it happens in the distance is a slight change to the view, a pinhole light. It gives hope to the hopeless, a focal point to set your directions on. The light at the end of the tunnel. We all want that light at the end of the tunnel. We all want the hope in scary times. Jesus Christ is that hope. He has made us a promise that he will be back for us. There is our light at the end of the tunnel.

How do we know it is true. We can read the Bible today and see prophecy that has been fulfilled and prophesy being fulfilled in the news. The Bible has yet to be wrong and this book made up of 66 chapter-ed books is the most sold and stolen book in the world. There is a reason for this. It holds the light at the end of the tunnel. Don't just believe me...Read it for yourself. Interesting fact...Did you know...The Bible was printed in 1454 A.D. by Johannes Gutenberg who invented the "type mold" for the printing press. It was the first book ever printed.

The Fearless Factor for today is John 20:29 "Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. You just need True Faith to see it.

Truth... In life there are many counterfeits. We will meet fake friend, liars, counterfeit money and counterfeit religions. People often confused on how to identify the real thing. How do you know that a person is a friend when you meet them and not just in the friendship for what they can get out of it. Some people we meet will lie straight to your face. Some people even try to pass of fake money to advance in life. But the worse counterfeit of all that the world pushes are false counterfeit religions. We have so many, than it is often times confusing for a new believer to know which way to turn. Truth...If you study the True word of God, Truth can reveal the counterfeit. In banks they don't show a new teller counterfeit money they show them real money from the US bureau of Engraving. They do this so they are so engulfed by the true money that a counterfeit dollar will jump out at them. The same is with the Word of God. If you study the Word of God and fill yourself with truth, the Holy Spirit will show you what is counterfeit. Have you even heard something and just know it was a lie or just not true. That is the Holy Spirit. Study Truth, Live Truth and the counterfeit will have nothing over you. The Fearless Factor for today is John 8:31-32 "To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." Fearless-Factor - Epesians 4:29

Sticks and Stones may broke your bones , but words...

What is coming out of your lips today? We have all heard the ryhme sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. This is so un true. It is the words that we say that sting the most. In Matthew 15 Jesus talks about the uncleanness of man. It was not the food they ate nor the unwashed hands that made them unclean. It was what came out of the mouth that made them unclean. Matthew 15:18-20 says "But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what make a man 'unclean'; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him 'unclean.' ".

What are you saying today? When I was 19 yrs old, I was a back-sliden Christian. God used a friend from High School to open my eyes to a simple fact. He had a verse written on a slip of paper that I still have with me to this day. It was Ephesians 4:29 and this is the Fearless-Factor of the day. "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

What is coming out of your lips today? Is it uplifting? Sure we often need to share bad news, but there is a way to do it in a fashion that can give glory to God.

Fearless-Factor - 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Today is a day that the Lord has made. Let's rejoice and be glad in it.

Everyday is a blessing from God, whether it is raining or sunny. God has planned a wonderful day for you. However the world, often has another plan. See the enemy of the Almighty want to turn what ever God has made into a depressing, stressful, and sometimes miserable place.

This was not Gods plan. In Genesis, God looked back on His creation and saw that it was good. It was the sin of man that changed His creation. The Awesome news is that He still Loves us and is with us for the long haul.

The Fearless-Factor for today is 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds."

God is with us every step of every day. We have the Almighty on our side. God does not create things the way we do. We have to work and labor to create or build something. God does it with a word. We need weapons and military force to fight battles, the Almighty uses divine power. Whose side do you want to be on when the battle is raging. Take time to smell the roses and look at the trees and the clouds in the sky. The stars at night are the canvas God painted on. This is a Day the Lord has made. Stressing out over it only distracts you from what he has made. Be Still and Know that He is God. This Day was made for you. Enjoy it the way it was intended, with Him.

As I walk to the distant village that the world does not see,
I know that God is walking with ME.

As I start my day and it is not going as planned,
I know that God is there ready to hold my Hand.
If you are in trouble and can't see the way out,
God is the source that removes all doubt.

Fearless-Factor - Matthew 14:20

Picking up the shattered pieces?

In life we often have events happen that seem to be like a shattered vase. It seems like everything is falling apart and nothing will ever make it whole again. It is from these shattered pieces that we learn our most valuable lessons.

When we look at a problem as we would a vase all we see is the vase. But when break the problem down it is easier to handle. No two shards are the same as it is the same with problems. If we take these problems a little at a time the whole problem is manageable. God never gives us more than we can handle. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 he promises, "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

So today as life doesn't seem to be going the way you had thought or you are seeing things you worked on so hard falling apart, know that God is in Control. It is only the shattered pieces that you can handle, so take a minute to thank God for the Broken Vases. The Potter's hand can make it better than before, we just need to turn the shattered pieces in our lives over to him.

The Fearless Factor for today is Matthew 14:20 "They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over." From the small pieces Jesus performed a miracle. He can do the same for you, if you are willing to give Him the broken pieces.

Fearless-Factor - 1 John 3:16

Sacrifice. Do you see the Love in this act? Yesterday we celebrated Memorial Day. This is a day that we remember those service men and women who serve our country in the armed services. We acknowledge their sacrifice and willingness to serve and the possibility of having to lay their life down for us and our freedom. Last night, while I was ending the day and saying my prayers. I thought about the greatest sacrifice of all time. Jesus on the Cross. We all remember the sacrifice on Easter and on Christmas, even on Sunday's, but this sacrifice is one that allows us peace in hard times, hope when nothing else is there, Love when we are all alone. Our US soldiers face fear on a daily basis and face war during unpeaceful times. The sacrifice they are giving is one of the greatest gifts a man or woman could give for another. That is the Fearless Factor for Today 1 John 3:16 says "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers." We should be greatful for Jesus Christ's loving sacrifice on the cross more than just on Sunday and Christian Holidays. In a similiar fashion, we should be greatful for the soldiers that lay down their lives for a brother more than just on memorial day and Veteran's Day. This is an example of love. Unconditional sacrifice without fear. Take a moment to thank God for these mem and women who unselfishly take on this duty, that often comes with no glory. Be Fearless and Quiet No More. Fearless-Factor - James 1:22

Dare to be different. What is holding you back?

Today is a challenge to all those that read the fearless-factor. It is a Dare to be different. Be different than what the world expects. Don't conform to the way of the world, conform to the way of the cross. Don't fit in with the people around you stand out. Don't wait on the world to change, help change the world. One Person at a time.

We have all read Revelation or at least know about it's content. Jesus is coming back so we need to be ready. But, our job as a believer in Jesus Christ is to tell someone. Tell somebody about what the Lord has done in your life. Believe me there is at least one thing in your day that God should get the glory for, for those reading this email and you feel it is too early in the morning, then take a deep breath and then say thanks.

We need to act different than the world , but not pretend to be better. We are all sinners just we have found the solution, a cure to our sinful life in Jesus Christ. The Fearless-Factor for today is James 1:22 "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says."

Fearless-Factor - Romans 13:3

Do you fear authority?

The Fearless-Factor jumped out at me today from Romans 13:3 "For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you."

The environment we all work in we are reviewed and critiqued on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually basis. We allow these reviews to worry us to a point of a borderline ulcers. The Bible states it very clear, if we do what is right we can be free from fear of the one in authority." Work as if you were working for God's glory and not yours and you will be blessed. You will be the one who is seen as the asset to the organization. Don't allow the one thing we all have to do for a living be the thing that stresses you to no end. By being the employee that does what is right, you are honoring God through your work.

Do you know Peace?

Peace is not holding two fingers in the shape of a "v". Peace is not just a statement in political games. Peace is something that happens inside of you. Peace is a comforting tool. Peace is a soothing release that overcomes your body, when you know everything will be alright. Peace is the absence of anxiety, worry and doubt.

Do you know Peace? If you have excepted Jesus in to your heart and into your life, then you know peace. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. We hear of peace in the middle east, this is a cease-fire and none hostile period. This is not the peace that I am speaking of. The Peace from Christ is an overwhelming understanding that He has everything under control. Here is the news bulletin if you didn't know already. God is the beginning and the end, the alpha and Omega. The Author of Life. He wrote the book and knows the ending. If your relationship is with Him, then you will know Peace. Like the infamous bumper sticker "Know Jesus, Know Peace---No Jesus, No Peace".

Our prayers do NOT fall of deaf ears. They are ushered straight to the throne of the Almighty and are heard and answered, in the way that is pleasing to God. Because He knows best, so by praying for His will we can have true Peace.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Philippians 4:7 "And the Peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus." It is right there a Peace from God Transcends all understanding. Jesus Peace is like nothing you have ever experienced before. So if you Know Jesus you will know His Peace.

Fearless-Factor - Psalm 139:13-14

You are wonderful. Did you know that?

Of all of the things on earth you are wonderful. The bible says so. You are so wonderful that God took the time to create you. From the innermost being to the very hair on your head. You were made by the hand of God. You matter enough to the creator that He the creator of the heavens and the earth took time to make you just the way you are. There are no mistakes, errors, or misprints. You are you because God has a purpose for you just he way you are. Do you know this? Do you believe it? If not here is the proof!

The Fearless-Factor is Psalms 139:13-14 "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

God made you with the personality that you have to serve a purpose that He has for you, that only you can do. Don't be afraid of the plans God has for you. Don't allow the world to influence your life, let your life influence the world.

Fearless-Factor - Philippians 1:20

Are you ashamed of who you are? Do you fear what is in store for you?

I see the world we live in and wonder when is Christ coming back? I know no man knows the hour, but will it be soon? Will we be ready? Will we tell others of Christ before it is to late? Are you ashamed of what you know? Are you afraid to be a Jesus Freak, or a fool for Christ?

The Fearless-Factor today is this Philippians 1:20 "I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death."

Being an Ambassador for Christ is not going to be easy, but it is nothing to be ashamed of. Have the courage to speak truth, Tell others what you know, be a holy example, for the world to see. It is not you that is holy, but the One who lives in you. Don't resist the Christ like attitude that is trying to shine through you. Do Not be ashamed, of the Gospel or His Name. For it is by his name alone that we are saved.

Fearless-Factor - Psalm 46:1-3

When you are in trouble or in near, who is your first phone call too? We all have friends we call on when we need help. This person can be a life-long friend a spouse. This person can change during your life time. As we grow older we come to ask less and less for help, as we see it a sign of weakness. I have learned something new. As we grow older our friends grow older too and different responsibilities come into play, like children and spouses, work, housely duties, and life. Our friendly support system isn't always available. But there is one constant in all of our lives. The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalm 46:1-3, "1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging." The world can crash around us. The mountains can tumble the seas may roar, we don't need to fear the earthly heart-ache alone. God is our "ever-present help" when we are in trouble. God is a constant from birth to death, He is always with us our strength in hard times and a refuge to run to. Know your safe place. Yesterday we experience the drama and threat of a tornado. We have a place to go for refuge in the event of a tornado. We also have a refuge in the event of a life-tornado. Christ Jesus is our refuge. Find peace, Strength, Joy, Hope, and Salvation with Eternal life in Him. Life is too short to not have your Salvation plan. Who is your first call going to be to? Be Fearless and Quiet No More

Fearless-Factor - Luke 15:6

Do you have the fear that you don't matter? Do you think that you will not be missed? Take a moment to think about who loves you. Is your list long or short? The fact is there only needs to be one on that list to truly matter. The Exciting part is that on the top of that list is Christ. You matter to Him. If no one else gives you the attention you need, He will. If no wants to talk to you, He does. If you are lost and no one is looking for you, He Is!!! Do you see a pattern here? You matter to God. In Luke 15, Jesus is in a group of "tax collectors and sinners" and they were gathered to hear Jesus speak. Comments were made that He was eating and welcoming sinners, but how else do you speak to the lost. They are no in chapel studying. They are in the world. Then Jesus says "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.' 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." You matter! You matter to the body of Christ and you matter to Jesus Himself. You have a purpose while here on earth. It doesn't matter how far, how deep or how lost you are Jesus Christ is looking for you. Romans 8:39 says it "neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." You can't hide from His love. Why, because you matter. Be encouraged today, that no matter how bad the day is, God Loves you and would drop what he is doing to look for you. He would leave 99 others just to come look for you and you alone. The Fearless-Factor for today is Luke 15:6 "'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep." That lost sheep maybe you today.

Do you realize how good we have it? Are you afraid of blessings?

The book of Philemon is a 25 verse book of the Bible. A letter short and to the point. While reading this book this morning one verse jumped out to me from the others. The Fearless-Factor for the Day, Philemon 1:6 or just Philemon 6, it says this "I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ."

This is so powerful because by sharing our faith through our testimony we are able to have a truer, deeper, complete understanding of what we have in Christ. We are FREE! We ARE Saved from death. We are redeemed. We have been chosen ,selected, allowed in the presence of the Almighty, the Creator of all things, because of the sacrifice of Christ. Our faith in Christ is a blessing like no other and by sharing your faith it is realized more by you and a testament to others of the hope they can have in Christ.

You are different because of Christ, some will see it as the whole that is missing in their life others will see the opposite as a list o things they can't do anymore. I have learned that in Christ there is more things to do than things you can't do. With the freedom to enjoy the giver of these gifts. Share you faith and enjoy every good thing that comes with it. Your excitement with be contagious as in verse 7 "Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints."

Fearless-Factor - Proverbs 3:5-6

Are you afraid to be patient and wait on the Lord?

We are a society of instant gratification. We need it yesterday! When the latest technology comes out we pay more than the item is worth to have it first. We have lost our ability to be patient.

Our lack of patience can turn into a lack of Trust. We all pray. Those who do not believe in a false God pray and those who don't believe in God pray in great time of need. Romans 14:11 says "It is written: " 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' " This verse is repeating the words from Isaiah 45:23 "By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear."

When our Trust begins to fade, our own understanding of things begin to take a foothold on the situation in front of us. The Fearless-Factor for today is Proverbs 3:5-6 "5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

God has a perfect straight path for you to walk. He has selected each step for you in faith, if you will trust Him. This path may have its up and downs during the way but they are there to prepare you. It is only when we think we can use a short cut through the woods that things become scary and troublesome. In the woods are strange noises, shadows, and the things unseen. When we divert from the path God has laid out for us. We find thing get more difficult because we were too impatient to walk His path. On His path, is a quality time with God, Peace, Hope, and Understanding. We have the opportunity to be with Him without distractions. Take the time to enjoy the walk He has given you.

Fearless-Factor - Psalm 130:7

Are you afraid to love your neighbor?

It is hard to love the unlovable. It is hard to look past the rough edges of people. Here is an interesting fact, The Bible speaks on Love and how we must Love our brother and our neighbor. It does not once say you have to like them.

Love and Like are interesting words. We use these words in common context but they are drastically different. Growing up, we often here that a girl or a guy "Likes" you. That meant they were interested in you. "Like" was the beginning to phase to "Love". But the Bible doesn't talk about us liking people, it talks about loving people. Love you enemy, love your neighbor, love your brother. Love is the word that is used to show us how to treat others.

Love is unconditional. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 "4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails." Key word in this is the last 3 words. Love never fails! God Never Fails. God is Love. God showed his love for all of man through the cross, when His Son died for our sins. He did this through love not through like.

We don't need to like everyone, but we do need to love them. As a body of believers, we need to get past the outer layer of people and see how God sees them and love them. Love the unloving. Get past the liking them phase and Love Them. Love Them like Jesus. Jesus didn't hang with the perfect, he hung with the flawed. When Christ met someone he didn't make them feel ugly, he gave them hope, forgiveness, and new look on life.

As a body of believers, we are very judgmental toward others at times, like we have all the answers and we don't have a past. Just a reminder we are all flawed and imperfect. You needed a Savior just as bad as the lying adulterous murderer in the news. We all have past, use this to bring God Glory. Without the Mess their is no message. Use you life experience to share Jesus, don't be ashamed of what you have been delivered from. God saved you to show others hope. Romans 5:1-8 " 1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. 6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Fearless-Factor - Matthew 7:7

Are you afraid to pray for yourself? How can God use a personal prayer to receive glory?

I believe God should get all of the glory. Especially if it is for something you prayed over. I recently completed a 6-week NC Real Estate course, this course is the prerequisite for the State Exam. I have spent the last Saturday and Sunday preparing for the final course exam which you need a 75% or higher to pass. Let me start by saying I am not a great test taker. I know the information inside and out but when it comes to tests I go blank.

We have 4 hours to take this test. It took me 20 minutes just to focus on the task at hand. I was stressing. I was prayed up and studied up. I was ready! But I could not focus. I took a break and went outside and asked God to free me from other distractions and help me focus. I have to say my prayer was answered. I was answering question in a timely fashion now. I had a few questions I skipped because I was unsure completely on the answer. I am on the last 4 questions which is completing a HUD statement, which if you have every purchased a house it is the long confusing paper with all the numbers. Yes, it is that one. The instructor say we have 25 minutes left. I was stressed because I still had not transferred my answers to the Scan tron sheet yet. Then I realize the two questions I skipped with 4 minutes left. I prayed "Lord, I need your help with these questions", I then felt a peace on one answer "A", then on the next a peace "D".

The instructor comes back into class with the death blow, "we have many who missed passing by 1 or 2 questions. But, this was a good class percentage" he added. I didn't think I passed but I told myself and several other in the class before the results were given, "it will be by the Grace of God that I passed. He will get the glory for my passing not me because the 100 questions I had I didn't know. I learned many things in this class it just wasn't the 100 things on this test".

Here is the Miracle in real life, I got a 75%. I passed but it was not me, the two questions I prayed specifically on I got both right. I got a 73%, God gave me 75%. This was my "Facing the Giants" moment. This was a moment I got to see first hand, that God hears our prayers, not just the Big Ones. I had my beat the buzzer by a prayer moment.

The Fearless-Factors were going through my mind one after another. They fueled my stomach and nerves. I just wish the Fearless-Factors I learned were some of my questions on my test because I know them. It was just encouraging to here God's word resonate through my mind in a time of need. Truth was surrounding me. I knew the information to pass, but I couldn't recall it. This was done so I couldn't get any glory. I passed, not with a 100% or a 76%. I got the grade to pass with the knowledge of knowing without God, I would have failed.

This is true in life. Without God-our life will fail. Many in this world see fame and riches as success. God sees success as trusting in Him. I passed not as a leader of grade points in the class. I passed by trusting He would see me through. I am grateful for this story to tell. It has once again confirmed that God is faithful. God hears our prayers big or SMALL. Ask and you shall receive. The Fearless-Factor for today is Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you." Don't be afraid to pray, unless you don't want something miraculous to happen.

How do you Roll? How are you Liv'in?

We have heard the comment in slang, "That's how I roll" or even been asked "How you Liv'in". That is today's question. "How do you roll and how are you Liv'in?" Is it for Christ?

We have been given Grace through Christ, but do you abuse this gift? Are you living the way Christ would ask you to? Are you loving the unlovable? Are you loving the family of Christ? Do you use your salvation and grace as a cover to do as you please. Most of us would say no, but take a moment to ask yourself this simple question. If Christ was sitting next to you at work would you say some of the same things or do some of the same things?

The Fearless-Factor for today is 1 Peter 2:15-17 "For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. 16 Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. 17 Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king."

If this is how you roll, the non-believers will see something in you that they are missing out on and desire in their life. If they see your freedom not as an excuse but as peace, joy, contentment and a honor to live for the King of Kings. Then this is a Great way to be "Liv'in".

So today, ask your self this question. "How am I liv'in?" and "How do I Roll?" Is it for Christ?

Can you feel it? Can you see it?

Today has been a great day and the day has just started. Can you feel it? Can you see it? Take a deep breath of air, as deep as you can. Did you feel that? The essential breath of life, as your lungs expanded. Close your eyes. What do you hear can you hear it? Close your eyes again and envision where you are right now. Can you feel it?

The Peace, the Joy, the Presence of the Lord is surrounding you this very moment. How exciting! Today take a moment to go outside and experience the intelligent design of an infinite mind. Everything around us comes from the hand of the Almighty. The simplest things that God has created, can bring you closer to Him.

I remember a day, when nothing was going my way. Meetings were canceling, business quotes were to high and I was stressing out. I walked down stairs to get a change of scenery, still frustrated when my daughter came from around the corner with her tiny hands behind her back. She said "daddy I have a surprise for you sit down". I said thank you honey but I can't play right now I have to go back to work. She said again "you gonna like dis". I am here debating with a 3 yr old. I was stressed out of my mind. She then revealed to me the surprise. "Daddy, you want me to paint you nails?" With a Sigh of relaxation I said "Yes, that is just what I need."

That moment I got the Best-Worst manicure in the world. God sent my daughter to bring everything back into perspective. We are going to have bad day but God will send little things our way to bring it back into perspective. It is sometimes the little things that God does that pull us through.

Take a moment and enjoy a little thing that you take for granted, it can be a breath of air or a moment with a 3 yr old blessing from heaven.

The Fearless-Factor for today Psalm 55:22 "Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall." He know just what you need at that moment. You just need to ask Him to help. He always delivers the right prescription. But be warned it could be a terrible manicure, But God knows best.

Are you afraid of the trials and the tests of your faith?

If you ever watch the news it is scary at times. What is this world coming to? We are more excepting to the worlds way of life than to God's. We are hear the Lord's name taken out of context and in vain, more than it is used in prayer. Does this bother you? Is this a concern?

When you speak up and are open about Christ, it seems that life sometimes becomes harder. You may be looked at differently, singled out to see if you stumble, and even set up to fail. The Fearless-Factor for today is James 1:2-4 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

To Quote Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest:
"Our faith must be tested in order to grow because it can only become our intimate possession through conflict. The test will either prove our faith right, or it will kill it. The ultimate thing is confidence in God’s word. Believe on Him and everything that challenges you will strengthen your faith. Faith is absolute trust in God – trust that could never imagine that He would forsake us.”

I believe that Christians will begin to be silenced in the US over the next few years. The Fact is we already have, with the not so recent attack on the Pledge of Allegiance, The fight to take God we Trust off of the US Currency, and even prayer in school. The more we are silent and do not react to these tests, the easier it is to stay quiet and only speak up on Sundays in the security of our church. Let your voice be heard "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile." - (Romans 1:16) and "However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name." - (1 Peter 4:16)

Are you standing firm on the Rock?

I heard this new song today and I don't know the artist. It talked about how they would never be shaken, never be ashamed, never be moved. That must be a strong Rock to be on. The foundation must be ageless and never crumble. The storms and the seas that crush against it must not even make a noticing effect.

How is your foundation? I will admit, I have days that I jump to another rock to see what it is like. But once the storm kicks in I start to worry and forget about the solid rock that is in my reach but the storm clouds and rain often block it from view, making me feel alone. But then God places different people and events to help get us back on track. God has a way of placing everything in perspective. And always remember that praying for help isn't a sign of weakness but of wisdom. Knowing where to turn is a very intellectual thing to do in a time of crisis, stress or confusion.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalm 62:5-7 "Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. 7 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

Christ our Rock has Hope, Salvation and Refuge from everything this world has to throw at us. Find a place to on this rock and stand firm.

A Joy of the Lord. A Desire to instill the Word of God in your Heart. Do you have it?

Yesterday, I witnessed two teens from memory recite Ephesians Chapters 1 and 2. They were not forced to do it. They did this because they wanted to and they enjoyed it. They had a desire to instill the word of God in their heart. How about you?

Do you have a desire to know God more intimately? Then we need to know how He speaks. One way is through His Word. Not all of us are born into a Christian home and it is not instilled in us and we are not given these gems as a child so start now.

The Fearless Factor for today is Proverbs 22:6 "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." We have a tendency to worry about things that we don't need to worry about. By reading the word we will learn to turn more things over to God and allow him to work these things out through pray, then to try to do them ourselves. We just cause more stress for ourselves at times. In His eyes we are all children.

Stress, Heart Pressure, Worrying... What can relieve this feeling?

Prayer. Life often comes in waves and can toss us around in ways that are stressful. When the storm comes remember to take a moment a just pray.

I am guilty of letting the world overwhelm me at times and I just feel to tired to speak. Don't allow this situation from letting you say these four word, "Lord, I need you." He understands your situation, He understands the solution. God just doesn't get involved where He is not wanted. The Bible talks about being in a constant state of prayer in Ephesians 6:18 "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints." I finally understand. I need to practice what I preach. "When we don't pray, we are basically saying, God I don't need your help." This is so far from the truth. We need Him every day, every hour, every second of the day. Be more dependent on Him than the world and two things will happen. 1 You won't be disappointed and 2 You will see results.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Romans 12:11-13 "11Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."

And the God of peace will be with you."

We are called to be Christ-like. When we are living life this way we are bringing praise to Him, and when we put this lifestyle into practice God will supply the peace and the reward of joy for He is with us.

Have you ever had one of those body -tickle moments when you did something right and you felt the tingling all over and you liked it. That is one example of His peace. God provides these moments so that we don't forget them. The more often you put them into practice the more often we can experience these moments. Live each day for Him and He will make Himself known to you.

Are you afraid to speak up about Christ? Do you hold back on the truth you know?

I went with my wife to see the documentary "Expelled: No intelligence allowed" http://www.expelledthemovie.com/. Wow, these people were fired not for speaking of Christ, but saying there was a possible theory in science that God had something to do with the creation on life on earth. It is just a theory, they were not saying that God Created the Heavens and the Earth, they are just saying it was a possibility and a theory to consider. You can't get any more vague than that. And this is happening not in China or in a Communist country. It is happening here in the USA. The land of the Free? We are losing our freedom of religion and free-will and are not doing anything about it.

How much different is it if we are quiet about the truth we know about Christ. Today's daily email is not to ask for Christians to picket or march on Washington DC. It is a simple question.

Who have you told about Christ? Luke 12:8-9 "8"I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God. 9But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God." If you were asked by Christ right now, today "Who did you tell about me?" What would you be able to say. This is a serious question, not one to take lightly.

This is what the Lord put on my heart when He said Quiet No More.org www.quietnomore.org. It is repeated in Acts 18:9 "Do Not be afraid: Keep on Speaking, do not be silent". We are going to be persecuted as Christians. It may not be like the martyrs that Fox speaks of in his "Book of Martyrs" it could/can/possibly will be in different ways. Losing a job, a deal, a friend, and even a family member. But can you with a clear conscience say with tears in your eyes, "I Tried to tell you".

Do not be afraid to Speak of Christ - Be Fearless. Keep telling others of Christ - Be Quiet No More. 1 Peter 3:14 "But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened." and 1 Peter 4:15 "If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler." The Fearless-Factor for today is 1 Peter 4 verse 16 "However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name."

Fearless-Factor - John 6:20

When you see God's plan developing before you, are you afraid? Are you afraid to allow Christ in?

God has a plan for all of His people. We all have a purpose. Don't be afraid to move forward with what you are doing for Him.

Even the disciples were terrified when they saw the Power and the Majesty of Jesus Christ. Imagine if you will going fishing with friends and then out of nowhere Jesus came walking toward you, yes on top of the water. The magnificence of Christ coming toward you to build you up in faith startled you. Then a voice tells you, "it is me, don't be afraid". This is what Christ is telling all of us. When we begin to draw closer to Him, He draws closer to us. Don't me afraid when you see the hand of God in your life. You will be surprised at how magnificent life can be when Christ Jesus is closer.

Don't be afraid to allow Christ in to your boat on this journey of life. With Him in your boat, He can tame even the roughest of waters.

Do you dwell on your past more than your future?

I was driving my kids to school and noticed the rear-view mirror and how small it is. It take up about 8 inches on my front window shield. And then it got me thinking, In life why do we allow what is behind us to effect what is in front of us? Our future is yet to be determined while we are here on earth and we let our view of the past obstruct our view of the future.

If our past was so important the rear view mirror would be a whole lot bigger than it is. Our past tells us where we have been, not who we are presently and who we are going to be. Stop living your life in the rear-view mirror and keep your eyes on the path God has placed before you. His view is much more Majestic, than the rear "items in the mirror are smaller than they appear" view.

The Fearless Factor for today is Proverbs 23:17-19 "Do not let your heart envy sinners,but always be zealous for the fear of the LORD. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Listen, my son, and be wise, and keep your heart on the right path."

Don't look through the rear-view and miss those days, they are behind you. Your Future is bright and full of hope and your blessings will not be cut off. Keep your focus on the path God has before you.

Fearless-Factor - 2 Corinthians 13:6

Are you letting a loser tell you how to win? It may be time to switch to a winning team. I see how the world tells us what is important. Money, Big House, Fancy Cars, Pretty women, etc. How are these people winners. If this was a ball game they may play a strong first inning, but lose the game when it is crunch time bottom of the 9th. I play on a winning team. My coach has never lost a game. He know just what to do in every situation. Yes the losing team may score a few times, but I will not let a loser tell me how to win. The enemy loves to distract us from the game we are suppose to play and make us think we are winning in the game of life when we are spiraling downward. Take a timeout and talk to your coach, God know just what to do. When the sins of life were completely covering you and it was your turn to face the pitcher in the ninth inning with 2 outs, your coach sent in the pinch hitter, who puts the "All" in "All Star". His name is Jesus Christ. He is going to bat for you. Let Jesus go to bat for you today and let a Winner, THE WINNER, show you how to Win. Winning in life isn't about the fancy cars or the Big House, it is how you play the game. Jesus would hit a sacrifice fly every time, To bring you HOME. Do you hear me? He wants to bring us home. He did it on Calvary and would do it again if he had to. The Fearless-Factor for today is John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." and 2 Corinthians 13:6 "I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test."

Are you afraid to speak to others about Christ? Time may be ticking away.

We all are timid when it comes to sharing Christ at first. It takes trust and faith to do it regularly. The more often you are vocal the more comfortable you are. But this is a fear you need to get over for the sake of the lost.

In speaking with a friend yesterday, I was given permission to share this story. The names have been left out for the purpose of this just happening.

There once were two high school friends, best friends who grew up together as children and later in life ended up live several blocks from each other as married women. One women had come to Christ during her courting in college and the other had not yet came to Christ. During neighborhood fitness walks, the Christian woman would share Christ as best as she could to her friend. But her friend did want to receive it, she wasn't ready was her reply. The woman's husband wanted to start attending church and wanted to learn more but didn't push the issue with his wife. One Sunday the Christian couple invited their friends to church, when they arrived at the door to pick them up, the husband came to the door and said his wife didn't feel like going and so the Christian couple went on their way to church. Several weeks had past and while the husband was at work the wife died in their home. She was approx. 34 years old and 8 months pregnant. She didn't want to receive a gift freely given. Now she will never have the opportunity to hear it again. This is not a story we like to hear but it is one that is true and happens every day. People do go to HELL. Now, we don't know the last moments, if she was like the thief on the cross. But, Hell is real. We need to not be afraid to share Jesus with others, especially our friends. If they are truly a friend and we truly care about them this is something we all need to share. But not all who hear will accept His Gift of Salvation. John 3:10-12 reads "10 "You are Israel's teacher," said Jesus, "and do you not understand these things? 11 I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?" In Matthew 22:14 it says "For many are invited, but few are chosen."

This is a hard story to hear. This Christian woman did all she could to introduce her friend to Christ. We can not make someone accept Christ, we can only introduce the choice. It will be difficult but she will be able to say, I tried to tell you, but you didn't want to hear it. She did want we are called to do, Share Jesus without fear. Not everyone will be saved, but we all still keep speaking and be quiet no more. But all who hear will not believe in John 20:29 "Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

The Fearless-Factor for today is 2 Timothy 1:12 "12That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.

Do you have a knot in your stomach? Is your heart worrying about what is ahead?

Life is sometimes what you make it. You can make your life stressful or stress-free, it is partly up to you. Life is going to have the normal ups and downs. It is how we respond to the downs that effect our daily walk.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalm 112:8 "His Heart is Secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes." What does this mean in the real world? What does this mean today?

It means, Trust in the Lord that he is capable and willing to take care of the troubles ahead. We don't need to be fearful of the days ahead. When all is said and done we will look back and wonder why we ever worried in the beginning. Our hearts will be a peace, our heart is secure. We have nothing to ever fear, God is in control.

Be at peace today knowing the Creator of Heaven and Earth has designed a wonderful week for you. The infinite mind that designed the complexity of the human eye is looking after you. The pulse behind every heart beat, cares for you and your day ahead. The One who desires to be with you for all of eternity has already made the arrangements through the cross of Jesus Christ. Let your Heart be Secure and have no fear today.

Fearless-Factor - Haggai 1:13

Do you have a fear of failure? Are you afraid of not succeeding in your task?

How often in life have you tried something new and failed the first time? Did you expect to be a prodigy? We are all prodigies we just haven't tried the thing we are best at yet or is it that we quit before we could excel at what we were doing.

We are a society of instant gratification. If I don't see results quickly I must not be cut out for this. We have all heard the saying if at first you don't succeed, try and try again. I read on a gospel tract these words of wisdom. It read, "If at first you don't succeed, Don't Try SKYDIVING." This is funny but made me think. If we are afraid to fail what else might we not try if we don't succeed the first time.

1. If when we mention Christ to someone and they don't accept Christ right then, I should stop trying to witness.
2. If I don't know every verse in the Bible I should stop talking about it.
3. If I have every let someone down, I should stop trying.

Here is the key word "Stop". If we stop because we fail. We will get better at only on thing...failing. Don't be afraid to fail, it just shows us one way that doesn't work. I am a failure at many things, but it can't keep me from trying. Failing isn't the end of the road, it is just a turn on the journey.

Don't be afraid of failing, because it will bring you one step closer to success. In sales there is this saying that "No" is just one step closer to "Yes". The more ways you try, the more ways you will discover your way. Keep in mind for a project or a task to be successful it must be started first.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Haggai 1:13 "Then Haggai, the Lord's messenger, gave this message of the LORD to the people: "I am with you," declares the LORD." These people feared the Lord as stated in verse 12. They understood who God was. They experienced failure because they didn't "Give careful thought to your(their) ways". Keep in mind God has a plan for you and if you are working hard against His plans, your plans will fail.

The Book of Haggai talks about how the people were more concerned about their own house than they were about the house of God. Check your priorities. This may be why your plan are not succeeding. God may have a different plan for you. He says "I am with you", take a few moments to talk to him about your plans.

Are you afraid that you are not living up to your potential? Is this fear holding you back?

We all have a purpose while we are here. For some it may require greater discipline to complete, for others they just need to show up. Does this make their purpose any less important? The Answer, No. To God we are all important we all have a purpose.

Take the Bible for example is one book more important than the other, Is Titus less important than Matthew, or is Mark more important than 1 John? One may have more detail and cover more ground, but with out the smaller books of the Bible it would not be complete.

We are like those books of the Bible, some of us have more ground to cover than others, but in God's eyes we are all the same. Where we are the same in this fact we are all incomplete with out Him. Our purpose can not start until we are not afraid to complete what God has in store for us. Don't be afraid to take the firsts God has placed before you. For some of us it may be sharing Christ with someone you know, for others with a stranger, for some it may be just opening your Bible and praying. The purpose you have is important the first step is to move forward toward it. Do not be afraid to do what God has called you to do.

The Fearless-Factor today is Isaiah 43:1 "But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine."

God who has created each of us and knows every hair on our head has summoned you, called you, you have a purpose and don't be afraid for he has redeemed you for this purpose.

Who is Good? Are you a Good Person? Are you afraid of what is in you?

I woke up this morning with the thought of Good on my mind. We all think that we are good people. But the Bible tells us Matt 19:17 "There is only one who is good." So if we are to be a positive influence on the world that we live in we need to have The Only Good one in us. Matt 12:35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him." We are not good but when the Christ that is in us is shown to Love those and comfort those around us, we are allow the Good in us to show.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalm 31:19 " How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you."

When you except Christ as your Savior, don't hold back from the complete transformation He is doing in you. Yes at times you will feel more vulnerable when speaking to others, but allow the goodness in you to come out.

Where do you place your Trust? In life we will see many things and they will cause us to fear. These are natural emotions for the flesh. But when we place our Faith in Christ and Trust in Him we can become fearless under God's mighty wings. The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalm 40:3 "He put a new song in my mouth a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord." I love the song Psalm 40 by Newsong because it reminds me that life will deliver many challenges and difficult times but God has place a new song of praise to Him in all of those circumstances. No matter what happen I can sing a song of praise a hymn to our God whom I will Trust to deliver me from the situation or get me around it. I will put my Trust in Him. Are you afraid to face the Giants in your life? This past week the study of David was mentioned. Who was this David who had no fear in him? Here is the question of the day. Was it that David had no fear or a lot of faith? David had killed lions and bears for taking one sheep from his flock. He protected his flock from harm, he was brave and faced the challenge of the beast. But Goliath has different. Saul saw things differently 1 Samuel 17:33 "You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a boy, and he has been a fighting man from his youth." What Saul failed to realize is that God doesn't call the equipped he equips the called. It was not the skill of a swordsman, the blade of an axe, or the art of and archer that defeated Goliath. It was a boy with the faith in God. It was not David who defeated Goliath it was the Lord. David knew that all he had to do was show up and God would do the rest. To prove this fact and faith in The Lord, he came to battle with five smooth stones. David said to the Philistine, 1 Samuel 17:45 "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the LORD will hand you over to me, and I'll strike you down and cut off your head." Here is a statement of true faith, because David doesn't even have a sword just 5 stones. He knew that God would take care of the difficult part of bringing Goliath down and David would then be able to take his head. David was Fearless and Quiet No More. He didn't walk into face the Giant verse 48 says he ran quickly toward the battle line. He also spoke boldly of how God Almighty would win this battle. Fearless-Factor - Psalm 130:3-5

Do you have the fear of forgiving others? Grace is somrthing that has been freely given to us for the forgiveness of our sins. Why is it so hard to forgive others. Have you every been wronged by someone and just could not forget it and it stirred in your heart but was never addressed? Or Did you wrong someone and never took the steps to say you were wrong and asked them to forgive you? Are you afraid of what might happen. Sometimes we place too much on what others may think and not enough on what God thinks. What can man do? What can God do? Ephesians 4:25 "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 "In your anger do not sin" Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold." Allowing the devil to cause you to fear of what might happen if you address what is bothering you with your brother, gives him a grip on your life. We need to only allow the Grip of Grace to hold us. We have been forgiven for so much, we need to forgive just as easy. This is not easy to do at times but through Christ Jesus all things are possible. Don't allow fear or anger to hold back your grace to others. The Fearless Factor for today is Psalm 130:3-5 "3 If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? 4 But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared. 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope." Are you afraid of the dark? Does the terror of night scare you?

My son at night always asks my wife or I to pray for his nightmares. He knows that once we have asked the Lord to watch over him, everything is OK. The Bible talks a lot about having faith like a child. It is when we start to lean on our own understanding that fear sets in because we know we can't do the things that are needed to set our minds at rest. But when we truly trust in the Lord we can have no fear. But I am not talking just a little trust, but completely give it to the Lord and think of it no more. My son does this every night. He can't go to sleep if I say you will be fine, your nightlight is on. Or if I say I will check on you in a little bit. He can not rest until he knows God is on the job. His Trust is in the Lord. He is asleep within minutes of hearing "Dear Lord, Please watch over Joshua and don't let him have any nightmares. In Jesus name, Amen. Good Night Josh." His Peace, his rest, and his trust is in the Lord. He thinks I am great, but Almighty God is even Greater.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Isaiah 50:10 "Who among you fears the LORD and obeys the word of his servant? Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God." Trusting in the name of the Lord and relying on Him alone is the greatest peace in the universe. It is when we try to follow our own light that the shadows and dark close in and cause us worry and fear.

Are you afraid of death? Are you afraid of what the world is coming to? I was watching the third installment of the Left Behind movies series the other night and there was a comment made about death that rung in my mind. "We can't die until God commands it". God is in control of everything. He heals the sick, feeds the poor, and blesses those that trust in Him. We have free-will but He also know the decisions we will make and He can intervene where he wants. I was thinking of this last night and how we are afraid of death. We don't know when we will die, but as a Christian and a follower of Jesus Christ there is no more death. We have been given a one-way ticket to Paradise. We all have a purpose while we are here. For some it may take longer for us to accomplish our purpose but we do not leave this earth until it is done. God's plans do not fail. He is perfect and there is none like Him. The next time the thought of pain, troubles, illness, or death begin to surface remember. God is in control. Whatever the outcome God is in control. The Fearless-Factor for today is Mark 13:7 "When you hear of wars and rumors of war, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come." I see the news and I see these things coming to fruition and I know I have a purpose and so do you. It is not easy to talk about Christ to others in some environments, but it is something we must do. If you see the areas we as Christians are sending missionaries, every nation and every tongues will soon of heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. What are you afraid of? What causes you the most fear?

Our fears are different for each other at different times. But one thing is the same during this time of fear. We are held back from our true potential as Christians and Believers of Jesus Christ. Fear is the absence of Faith. These two words can not dwell together. Where there is Faith there is no fear and where there is Fear there is no faith. One is freely available to those that Trust in the Lord, the other prowls looking for a place to dwell. Fear can be big or small, brief or ongoing. Trusting the Lord with all of your heart, mind and soul is the remedy. The solution is not easy that is why it is called faith. We need to believe in the unseen and know it will be OK. Whatever the outcome God will use it for His glory. Nothing from the Lord returns void - This is the benefit of Faith.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalm 31:14 "But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, "You are my God."

God is not a concept. God is a powerhouse, There is power in the name of Jesus Christ read Acts 3:6, 16:18. This are examples of the power of the name of Jesus. Lame walk and spirits flee. I trust in the Lord. I have nothing to fear.

Do you have the Fear of the Lord in you? Do you know who God is?

Have you taken a moment to truly think about who God is? When I look around in my own back yard at night, I hear the frogs, the owls, the birds, the dogs calling out. I see the night sky shining in the evermost reaches of the universe all Declaring...There is a God.

We get so caught up in the daily hustle and bustle of life that we often miss the signs of God all around us. With a few word the universe was spoken into existence, with a hand full of clay man was created. God is not a figment of the imagination. God is the author of the universe and everything in it.

He is in control of the waves, the sky, and holds in all in the palm of His hand. Don't let the world confuse you and think the bad things of this world will prevail. He is the author of all that we see and as the author He knows how the chapters end and how the story will end as well.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalm 33:8 "Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him." When God speaks, things happen.

Are you afraid of people knowing who you were? Does your past haunt you in the present?

We all have a past. We all have a past we are not proud of. The fact of the matter is we are all sinners. We all had a lifestyle of sin that we were saved from. I have brothers and sisters in Christ that were former liars, thieves, alcoholics, homosexuals, drug users, strippers, adulterers and even murderers. The thing that they all have in common is that they are all the same sinner in Gods eyes in need of a Savior. Sin is Sin! We are the ones that rank sin according to our judgment standards. However, in the eyes of the Only Holy One, sin is all the same.

Here is where the difference in your sins can make a difference. Your Testimony. If you are embarrassed to share what God saved you from then your conversion will never be able to show others the difference Christ made in your life. If we all were the same we wouldn't need our personal testimony. Even Paul had a testimony. He called himself the Chief of Sinners. His former purpose before Christ was to persecute Christians. What a story to tell there.

If you share your personal testimony with others it will give them true conversions to use to help others come to Christ. You are not that person anymore, in Christ you are a New Creation. Don't reminisce in the past, but tell others what Christ saved you from.

The Fearless-Factor for today is 2 Corinthians 5:11 & 17 "11 Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men." and "17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"

You have the opportunity to relate to others through your imperfect past, so don't be afraid to use this to show the lost what Christ saved you from. It is your testimony, don't be ashamed of it. That is the Road that led you to the most important decision of your life. "To be a New Creation in Christ Jesus".

Fearless-Factor - Matthew 28:5

Does your imagination cause you to worry?

This was the case with the two Mary's on Resurrection Sunday. They went to the tomb of Jesus to mourn their loss, when an earthquake violently shakes the ground they were standing on and the stone of Jesus tomb was rolled away. These are two events that would scare anyone. The soldiers in charge of guarding the tomb froze stiff like dead men. These men were soldiers, they are to be fearless and bold, tough guys, they obviously weren't.

But Mary and Mary too were very distraught because the tomb of Jesus had been tampered with. Who would have done this? The were scared, afraid, worried of what the world may have done. Their minds began to wonder. Then came the Fearless-Factor for these women. Matthew 28:5-6 " The angel said to the women, "Do Not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 HE IS NOT HERE, He has RISEN, just as He said. Come and see the place where he lay."

Our imaginations can often cause us to worry about things we don't need to. God is in Control, Jesus has Risen. It may be Friday. But Sunday will be here soon. Jesus is alive. Take a moment today to remember why we don't need to worry. We know the story take some time to think about what this day means. Every sin you have committed and every sin you will in the future was on His shoulders that day. He paid the price for you and me. In Christ, we are a new creation, don't worry about the past, focus on the future with Him, and tell somebody.

Hope - Does it ever feel like it is gone? Does life cause you to feel alone?

I was trying to relive the moments after Jesus Death on Good Friday. I try to understand the loss of Hope, the feeling of solitude. Being alone in my sorry thinking the One Person God had sent was murdered on the cross. Not What? Now what are we to do. It is Friday.

It is Friday and my only hope is buried in a tomb, a borrowed tomb. Nothing can console me. Nothing can make the tears from flowing. My Hope is lost. My Hope is Dead. It is Friday, BUT SUNDAY IS ON THE WAY.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Mark 16:6 "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him."

It is Sunday and all Hope is Restored. The One they crucified defeated death and took away that fear. Don't be Alarmed, Scared , or Worried. JESUS IS ALIVE.

Fearless-Factor - Luke 5:10

Are you afraid of what you are called to do? Does the thought of what actually might happen scare you?

When we begin to listen to the Voice of the Lord, we begin to see things. We see things differently because a viel has been lifted. Accepting Christ allows you to see Christ - Claritan Clear. Nothing is impossible. At the same time, we some time need baby steps. We are not all prepared for the complete power of Jesus Christ. It even took the disciples some time to fully come to grips with it and they were right there.

Take Simon for example: This man shows up in his boat and asks him to push of shore a little ways. Then he starts teaching from the boat. When he finished speaking he tells Simon to cast his net. Now Simon is a fisherman and knew these waters as best as anyone could. He tells the Man, because you say so I will, but we have been working hard all night and haven't caught a single fish. But I will do it to show you, so he thought. When he did the nets overflowed with fish. There were so many fish that Simon had to call a few fishing buddies over to help take in the load. That moment he knew who the Man was in his boat. This man was like no other... It was Jesus.

The Fearless-Factor followed Luke 5:10 "Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men." When Jesus is involved the cup flows over. But don't be afraid to be a part of something God has presented to you. When you move toward your purpose that God has called you to through Jesus Christ, the things that seem impossible for you, are not for Him. Allow for God to bless the things you are doing, and GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY. You too are a Fisher of Men. Don't be afraid to cast your net out.

Does Fear cause you to doubt? When your plans don't go the way you expected do you stop Trusting in God?

Trust is something that builds over time and gets stronger. If we allow the stumbling blocks in our life to reduce our trust in Him, the end result is also a reduction in Peace and Joy because you have allowed Fear, Doubt, Discouragement, and Frustration to gain a foothold in your life.

The Fearless Factor for today is Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” What a great thought, to overflow with Hope. Like the Nationwide commercial says "Life comes at you fast", so do the trials and tribulation of life. Allow God to fill you completely with His Joy and His Peace as you Trust His perfect outcome. As you allow this to happen, the fear in your life is replace with Assurance that He is with you (1 Corinthians 5:4). The doubt is then replaced by Confidence that you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37) and that you can do all things through Christ (Phil. 4:13). The Discouragement is removed and the courage to be bold takes over (Isaiah 42:4). Then Finally the Frustration that life is not going the way you thought, is replaced by a feeling of aplomb (Phil 1:6). This is the complete and confident composure in Christ who strengthens you and He will see it through.

Are you afraid to be who you are in Christ? What is holding you back?

Christ is often times referred to as something we call on in difficult times. Christ is not a trinket, Christ is not some mystical power we call on in times of need. He is our Savior. He is something that you completely put on, not just a cross around your neck or the bumper sticker on the tailend of your car. This is Jesus Christ we are talking about. He is more than a concept. He is Truth and Life. When you accepted Jesus Christ in your heart you are asking him to change your lifestyle. But to change your lifestyle you need to leave the old stuff behind you. Is the desire for the old things or old habits in life enticing you? These are the very things holding you back.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Proverbs 23:17 "Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the LORD."

God has plans and purpose for you, but we need to be able to do the little things first, like be unafraid to speak His name in public and to friends and family, even to a stranger. Proverbs 23:18 continues on to say "There is surely a future hope in you and your hope will not be cut off. God wants to be your everything, but we can't allow the other things of this world hold us back from being all we can be in Christ.

Are you able to Trust God in the time of Frustration? Are you able to cling to him and find peace?

We are all going to face a hard difficult time. The Bible even tells us these days will come. Jesus said ""I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). Jesus is telling us He has already taken care of it. Does this mean it won't be rough. No. It means even though it is rough if we cling to Him and draw closer to Him, He will give us Peace through the storm.

We need to remember a few things during the hard times. First, Trust God to give you Peace during the time of distress. He will hear your prayers. Second, Don't sin in your anger. God can't be around sin. So sinning will only seperate you further from God. Third, ask God to fill your heart with Joy.

By allow God in this will allow His Peace dwell in you and overcome the distress in your Life. Trust the Lord and He will Get you through the storm.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalms 9:10 "Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you." God is alway there ready to hear our prayers, we just need to start speaking to Him and Trust in Him.

Are you a Brave Christian? Are you a Bold Christian? Do you share your Jesus with others?

I think of Bold Christians, like those in Fox's Book of Martyrs and think to myself, "They are fearless Christians, am I that strong." We live in a Country that was founded on Biblical Principles, but we are too afraid to mention Him at schools, work or in public?

The Fearless-Factor for today is Ephesians 6:20 "Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should." Paul is asking for prayer to be bold and fearless in declaring the Truth as he should. But it was not up to just Paul to spread the Good News fearlessly. This is a purpose we all have. At Home ,at work, at school, at play we have a purpose and that it to Make Christ known. Now there are ways to do this and ways not to. We don't want to come across as some weirdo nut-job and scare people away. We can do this by the way we live and react to what life throws at us. But the most important thing to remember is to declare Christ Fearlessly. Don't be afraid of sharing Christ with others. You may be the only one in their life willing to it.

Joy and Pain. Sunshine and Rain. God is great through it all.

Life is a roller coaster that has its Ups and Downs. Some times the ups don't come as often as the downs. Why is that? Why do we allow the downs in our lives keep us in the valley.

Life's bad times only are bad if you see only the negative side. But if we see the brighter side of the situation and learn from it the down doesn't get to go as low. We are blessed. We are Seriously Blessed. We are never alone and the Joy of the Lord is with us always.

This is Great news. When we are down allow the Joy of the Lord to lift us up. He can lift you up out of the sadness, He can Deliver you from sorrow, He can with a single breath create life. Allow God to breath in you today and clean away the darkness inside that has been holding you back.

I learned a little about dogs today. That they live in the moment, they don't dwell on the past. We need to be a little more like dogs. Allow Christ to be with you in the moment.

How do you live you life? Do you let fear control your day or even portions of it?

I was watching a movie with my 3 kids over the weekend. It was Mr. Mangorium's Wonder Emporium. The movie dealt with the fear of change. I saw many different challenges that we allow to hold us back from our true potential. The movie had a quote that just stuck to me. "Life is an occasion, rise up to it."

How true was that quote. We as Christians allow so many things to hold us back from our true potential as Followers of Jesus Christ. I am in no way perfect, but I am excited for the opportunity to rise to the occasion of talking about Jesus. It is hard at first to share Christ. It was also hard at first to ride a bike, but the more I did it the easier it got. I can now get a bike and just ride. I am still working on that skill in my Christian walk, but the more I do it the more second nature it will become. I was afraid to ride a bike at first, now I ride with no fear. We are afraid t oshare our faith at first, but over time in will be something that is done with no fear.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Matthew 17:7 "But Jesus came and touched them. "Get up", He Said. "Don't be Afraid". 8 When they looked up, they saw no one but Jesus. Are you afraid of the What If's of life? Does the daily possiblities of different changes scare you?

The What If's are an obstacle to keep you from even starting. Life has many challenges that we have the opportunity to see Have the Lord can deliver us each day. We hear all the time that God doesn't do the same things today that he did is the Bible. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Hebrew 13:8 He is doing Miracles everyday we just don't alway acknowledge His Majesty.

When we arrive at a difficult situation, take a moment to praise God for the opportunity to allow you to Grow in Him. We will soon see the What If's become Could Have Been's. I Have begun to take Joy in difficult times and stress, It shows me that I am making a difference and I becoming a What If fear for the enemy. So much that I am someone they need to worry about.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Matthew 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life,". God has EVERYTHING under control. When I say everything I mean everything. For Example, even in a dought we have water to drink, every day the planets hang precisely where God intends, and we have not run out of air to breathe in the centuries we have been on this earth. Have you ever thought of those little things. Those are all things we depend on God for and we could not do on our own. Have you ever noticed that God's Promises never fail. He even reminds us of his promises through the ever so magnificent rainbow. Have you taken a moment to ponder the What If God didn't keep His promises. I have and if His promises ever failed...He wouldn't be God. I am so excited that He never changes. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Hebrew 13:8. Have you noticed the pattern. God is unchanging, so allow Him to be the constant foundation in your life. With God there is not a "What if" only "What Is".

Fear of Failure, it affects us all. Are you afraid to fail? Failure is a difficult situation to face. We all have dreams that we want to aspire to, but what holds us back? Fear. Fear can hold a man to his seat. Fear can cause the greatest idea to die in the mind. How many great things have been thought of, but never experienced due to fear? Failure is not always a bad thing. Without failure we wouldn't have the light bulb. The first light bulb Thomas Edison made only lasted 40 hours. Were this was not a failure it was not a success either to Edison and he continued to work on it for another year until he made it last 1200 hours. In 1991, Philips invented a bulb that lasts 60,000 hours. Where was the failure. There isn't one if you consider that each bulb got better over the years. The bulb went from 40 to 60,000 hours in 100 years. This is a success! We just live in a instant gratification society. One Failure and you are a failure. The same goes for going after the Purpose God places in front of you. There may be obstacles and road bumps that cause us to fail in our eyes but if we learn from the mistake we can move forward. We are all imperfect and we will make mistakes. It is how we learn from the mistake that makes it a success. Be encouraged to keep trying. Soon you will see the light bulb in your life grow from a 40 hour bulb to an eternity bulb in Christ. Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord what ever you do, and your plans will succeed." Do you get distracted? Does fear cause you to be engrossed in things that don't matter? The Fearless-Factor for today is Proverbs 29:25 "Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe." Let's break this Fearless-Factor down. Fear of Man will be a snare. What is a snare? By definition a snare is a contrivance often consisting of a noose for entangling birds or mammals (2) something by which one is entangled, involved in difficulties, or impeded (3) something deceptively attractive. The Fear of man will distract, entangle and increase difficulties for your life. What can man do to you? This fear of man can and will distract you, cause you to worry about things that aren't important. It will also keep you from what you should be doing. But whoever Trusts in the Lord is kept safe. God is our shelter and shield from whatever the world tries to discourage and distract us with. Have you ever had that day when you were trying to juggle to many things and a few dropped. Did the world end? No it did not. Fear of man will cause you to think this way. Trust that God is in control and He will see you through. God doesn't want us to stumble or fall. Does having Faith scare you? Are you afraid to see the extent of your Faith? When the word Faith is mentioned we all have a tendency to admit we have it, but do we hold it back or at bay if you will. We are willing to have faith when things are going ok and we don't have a high stake in the game. But what if you were to take your faith to the next level. The Fearless-Factor for today is Matthew 17:20 "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Nothing is impossible if you have faith. Faith comes from believing. Do you believe that you can succeed? At work, at home, at sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Nothing is impossible for you who believe. The first step is to get out and do something about it. Have faith in God that he has placed you where you are. Have Faith that God wants you to succeed at work, so make those extra calls. Give your career to Him, he wants you to succeed. Have Faith in your relationships, He wants you to be Blessed. How do you know that you are doing God's Plan? How is the Holy Spirit in you demonstrated?

Paul is one of the most reknown people in the New Testament, Jesus of course is the most important and the reason for the New Testament. But today I am focusing on Paul. I love the way he takes John 3:30 to heart. In 1 Corinthians, he simplifies the message down to two thing Jesus Christ and him crucified. This is his message here.

Paul is the example for the Fearless-Factor today. The Fearless Factor for today is 1 Corinthians 2:3-5 "I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power."

Paul was weak and God was Strong, he was fearful and God was his Fearless-Factor, he was nervously shaking, and God was his fortress. Paul was afraid, scared, nervous and worried all at the same time, yet he trusted the Lord and His almighty Power to move forward.

We are going to be afraid, scared, nervous and worried in life. Just know that God is your constant source of strength when you need Him. He is our Strong Tower.

Are you afraid? How do you become fearless? How does faith build me to be fearless? Faith and Fear are like the North and South Pole. As you draw close to one Pole you distance yourself from the other. So as you build in faith you reduce in fear. The same goes in the other direction too. As you allow fear into your life you are step away from faith. We all tend to be the Christian on the equator and we tetter between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricon 23.5 degrees north and south of the equator. We are as Bible called lukewarm neither hot nor cold. It is time to take a stand against the enemy and stand firm in our faith. Life can and will throw many things at us. Be Fearless and Bold. Do you ever feel like you are under attack? What do you do?

I have felt under attack the last few weeks. I have felt attacks from the most unlikely places and people. This was causing me stress and heartache and worry. These attacks did not seem to let up. Then I began to see the bigger picture.

The Big Picture was like this. In Football, every defensive player goes after the guy with the ball in his hands. Their goal is one of two things to tear him down or to knock the ball from his hands and cause him to fumble. Life in this situation is like defensive football players. The enemy doesn't care about the guy not holding the ball he is the only concern he has.

If you are not doing what God has called us all to do, you are not a threat. You are not running with the ball. You might as well be on the bench and off the field. But, if you are the one with the ball in your hands doing God's will every defensive player is looking for your number to bring you down.

Here is the exciting part. You scare the enemy! You are a Pro-Bowl, All-Star, Super-Bowl winning player on God's team. The most exciting part is God has selected you and I as the Play-Maker. You have the ball. What are you going to do with it? Are you going to quit and let the enemy win or are you going to let God help you and stand block for you. Don't let others tear you down and hold you back from God's plan. Tap into your Quiet Strength. Be Strong and Couragous as in 1 Corinthians 16:13 "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong."

The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalm 115:11 "You who fear him, trust in the Lord-He is your help and shield". God is the BEST Offensive line you could or ever will have. God's Team is 19-0 every season.

Fear - Can be a consuming fire. As men, we have the tendency to worry about the things we can't control and stress about the things in our control until the two blend together resulting in a partical heart attack. Why do we do this to ourselves.

We are wired to be fixers. We like to fix things. Have you ever taken a honest look at what we try to fix. It usually ends up worse. There is a Tim the Tool man in all of us. We set out to fix something and do a little patch work and a week later it is worse, then we call in the professional. That is right a professional. Someone that knows what they are doing.

The same is with God. We have a professional to fix our problems. Here is the kicker, He was there from the beginning willing to help us with lifes leaking pipe and we just let Him sit there. God is not pushy, God doesn't speak so He can hear His own voice. He he speaks all of creation listens. When he speaks mountains move and waves calm. When God Speaks Action Occurs.

If you want results in your life, then talk to the Professional. Don't be afraid to ask for Help.

Fearless-Factor - Haggai 2:5

Do you worry about the changes taking place in you life? Does the fast lane in life cause you to worry that you will be left behind?
Change worries us all. It is the unexpected in life that causes us stress. It causes us to be afraid. It makes our hearts race and our hearts drop. Worry is a tactic to make you think of the things that really don't matter and may never take place. So why do we worry? If the majority of the issues may never come to fruition why do we stress it. What are we so afraid of?

We don't know any better. Even as Christians we still don't take everything to God. A small portion of us have this piece of us that enjoys the drama of life and don't know how to function with out it. It is time you "Let Go and Let God". Let go of the doubt, Let go of the worry, Let go of the little things that are holding you back. Let Christ be the replacement in that place of worry and allow Him to consume you like an unquenchable fire.

Fearless-Factor - Romans 13:3

Your Moment of Truth. Do you think you are a good person? Are you afraid to be honest with yourself?

I was flipping through the channels and I landed on a show called the Moment of Truth. I watch as this woman was truthful about all of the ways she felt. As the prize money increased the questions got more personal and deeper into her life. She basically was destroying her marriage one question at a time. She won $100,000 she then thought that she was home free to the $500,000 so she pressed on. Two questions later she was asked "do you think you are a good person?" She replied "Yes". She was lying to herself. She didn't think she was a good person.

This made me think of Jesus in Luke 18:19 "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good—except God alone.

Are you afraid to be honest with yourself. We are all sinners. Not one of us is good. We all strive to be Christ-like but we all are of need of God's help. Don't fool yourself. Be Honest and start with yourself. I have made a lot of bad and poor decisions. I know my moment of truth is coming. I will admit to you all everything, I have no secrets, but no I too am not a Good Person. I too am in need of a Savior Daily.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Romans 13:3 "For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. To take that step toward being good. Be honest with others and yourself. This will allow you to grow. John 8:32 "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Risk! It is a scary thing. It can cause us to stop doing what we are made for. Are you afraid of Risk? What if Paul was afraid to risk it all to speak to the Gentiles? What if Early day Martyr's were afraid to be vocal about Christ? What if you didn't tell others about Christ? Yes, what about you? You have a calling on your life to be Quiet No More. God created you to have vocal cords. Why are those vocal cords so important. In Luke 19:40 Jesus replied to the Pharisees "I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out." You were made with vocal cords to speak about the Glory of God why are we so silent? Why are we afraid of risking it all for Christ? The Fearless Factor for today is Acts 15:26 "who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Have you taken that leap of faith and trusted Jesus with your life. Are you willing to abandon it all for the sake of the call? Be Encouraged, but also be challenged to take that next step as a Christian. Step up your faith and be vocal about what you believe in. Don't be afraid of taking Risks for Christ. Because Christ has taken all the risk out of it on Calvary. Are you willing not to have a friend in heaven because of your fear to speak?

Does Death scare you?Are you afraid to die or are you afraid to live? Death is a scary thing for most people, even Christians. It is where the rubber meets the road in the your faith. This is where you are rewarded for believing in a Savior or your ignorance is acknowledged. How do we conquer the fear of death? By Discovering the Joy of Life!
As children we think about death quite often. We worry about our parents dying or we wonder when we are going to die. As we grow older we push it to the back of our mind and don't focus on it as much. Life begins to clutter our thoughts with more worries. But when we reach a certain age death becomes more obvious. We realize that the mortality rate is 100% and we are going to die. I remember the song "Live like you were dying".
It talked about doing all of these crazy things before he died. We look at death as an ending. In reality, it is the Foreword of your Life with Christ. In Heaven when a believer comes home, it is a celebration, you have a One on One appointment with the Savior. In Heaven your Faith is rewarded for Fighting the good Fight and telling others about your Savior, Jesus Christ. The Fearless Factor for today is Hebrew 2:14-15 "Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death."
So now I ask you the same question in 1 Corinthians 15:55 "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" Death has no future reservation for you, but Jesus Christ does...for eternity.

Trust...Who do you trust? Trust is a strong word. Trust is something not given lightly and not something easy to regain. Once again who do you trust?

Trusting someone first requires you have a relationship with them. You wouldn't trust a stranger with your wallet or a 9yr old child to stay home alone for the weekend. They need to earn that trust. It takes time. Once the relationship is there the steps toward becoming trustworthy begin. To become trustworthy, a person needs to show you they are able to be trusted with the important things, by being true to their word. Doing what you say you will do says alot about who you are. This allows others to listen to you and believe you are going to do just what you said. Are you True to your word...You Are Trust Worthy! Now, who do you trust?

People are not perfect. Friends are not perfect. Family is not perfect. When we have expectations of imperfect people we will be let down. Are you afraid to Trust anyone? Here is a solution. I know this Guy who is perfect. He has never lied, stolen, used God's name in vain, perfect in everyway and He is always looking for new friends. You may have heard of Him...Jesus Christ.

The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalm 56:11 "God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Trust eliminates fear. Trusting man will only result in stress, worry and fear. Trusting in God results in Peace, Joy, and Real Results. Now...Who do you Trust?

Where are you today in your walk? Do you feel beat-up? Do you feel that you have not lived up to your God-given potential? Do you feel you Legacy is fading? This is just a reminder to us all, we are all insignificant. We all fall short. We are not good enough. Now how do you feel? Worse? Even the most successful people in the world have these days. What is it that makes the impossible possible? We all have the ability to be extraordinary if we live up to our potential. For some the extraordinary things seem to come earlier on in life for others it is in that last breath. The Fearless Factor for today is Philippians 1:6 "Being confident in this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ." We are all a work in progress. We are going to have the ups and downs, good days and bad. The Great News is God will keep working on us until the end of time. God has got a purpose for you. It could be an example of a ethical business person to others in your industry, it could be building you up to introduce Christ to a non-believers. Does your Life Stress you out? Do you find yourself worrying over the little things? Life is stressful enough at times that we don't need to worries of the Minuit details stressing us out. Jesus told his disciples many times not to worry. Being in our shoes he saw the Minuit become gigantic but the difference is that Christ replaced His worrying with faith. God cares so much about us that he wants us to place our faith in Him. The enemy uses the little things to stress us out. A big task is obviously a big task we know this going in and it will have its own level of difficultly, so we take it with a grain of salt. Nothing easy if ever worth doing. It is the little things we don't expect that stress us out. Little things like a ticket for speeding, a delay on a decision, a delay of a refund, that phone call of bad news or you fill in the blank. What little thing stresses you out that you haven't give to God yet? Try it. These are little things to God and they will be for you too if you replace your worries with faith. God can handle all the things that you can not we just need to seek Him in the small things and the big things. I have learned that when I trust God with the little things my faith is strengthened for when the bigger storms come. And they will come. So press into Jesus allow Him to be your strength. The Fearless-Factor for today is Luke 12:22 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about what your body, what you will wear." Don't worry about the little things, God will provide everything you need. A friend told me that "85% of what is “worried about” never happens…trust in the Lord for the other 15% and you are good to go."

Fearless-Factor - Hebrews 13:5

Are you afraid to make a difference? You are going to change your surroundings or are your surroundings going to change you? There once was a man who tired to make a difference but every time he stepped out to make a change the result was he blended in with the crowd instead of mixing things up. There was another man who set out to make a difference with the same crowd. He prayed up, he learn a little about his environment and what was needed to make a change and proceeded to effect his surroundings slowly. Over time the effect was felt by all that came in contact with the man. He changed his surroundings by staying the course until the mission was complete. The difference between the two is that one is a thermometer and the other was a thermostat. The thermometer changes to its surrounding and doesn't make a difference, it just shows the temperature of the surrounding area. The Thermostat is hooked into a power source that is never ending. The thermostat has a mission to reach a certain temperature and will not quit until it reaches that set goal. Which are you as a Christian? Are you one way at church with your friends and another at work - A Thermometer. Or are you a Thermostat the one setting the stage for the environment with your Power-Supply being Jesus Christ whose power is unending? The Fearless Factor for today is Hebrews 13:5 "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said "Never will I leave;never will I forsake you." Fearless-Factor - 2 Corinthians 13:5-6

Ever wonder if you are doing God's will? Ever wonder if you made the right choice?
I had to cancel a ski trip with a few high school buddies because my wife was unable to walk due to a slipped disk in her back. There really wasn't a question on what to do, family first. This is true but my wife kept telling me to go. Was this a trap by my wife or a test to see what really mattered in my life.
I decided to call my friends and tell them I would not be making the trip to CO that I so excitedly planned with them. They of course understood but I have to admit I was pretty bummed. I haven't seen these friends in about 6 years. But to place everything into God's view. I made the right decision. Here is how God confirmed my choice.
I called the airline to cancel my non-refundable ticket to CO. When the operator answered the line. She asked "How may I assist you". I stated, "I would like to cancel my flight." She then in return replied, "Yes Sir your flight was canceled due to plane malfunctions and since there are no other available flights left today you will be getting a full refund." How funny is that? I was placed in a test and I passed. Not only did God bless me with a wonderful wife who was more concerned with me going on my trip, but when I chose to stay I was also saved the headache of being stuck in a city with no flight out too.
This was a test on selfishness. Was I willing to put others first? Not just any other but the one God created just for me, my wife. I also passed the decent husband test. I heard pass the honey go with your friend and heard the soft, and in fine print, "I need you to stay home" and I did it anyway. What was the reward? The knowledge knowing I did the right thing and a full airfare refund on a non refundable ticket...cha...ching. God is so good and all knowing. Some may say it is a coincidence others may say it is luck. I believe in just one thing...God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) God is good all the time and All the time God is good.
The follow-up on my wife is that we went to a Christian Brother in Christ today who is a chiropractor after an adjustment today she is able to move around a bit better today. 20% better per my wife. Thank God for healing hands.
The Fearless-Factor for today is 2 Corinthians 13:5-6 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you unless, of course, you fail the test? 6And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test.
This was not a test of faith for me but a test of hearing the voice inside me"Christ" telling me the right thing to do, not what I wanted to hear. As men we have this gift of hearing what we want to hear. I wanted to hear "GO SKIING IN CO WITH YOUR FRIENDS", and it was said, but what God wanted me to here was "HELP".
Thank you Lord for helping me hear.

Fearless-Factor - Luke 12:7

Fear, Worried, Anxiety they are all a funny thing. The anticipation of test results, The unknown, The question of what is around the corner. These are the issues that worry us. But why?
Today was a hard day for Vanessa and I. We had to go to the doctor because she was having paralyzing pain in her deep lower back. She couldn't walk well and was concerned as she should be. It was not normal for her. As we go to see the doctor, the doctor does her doctor thing and then gives the list of the possible things it could be. None of them sound at all to well. But then she says a word that brings Vanessa later to tears. It could be a tumor. We still don't have the final doctors diagnosis, but her opinion doesn't matter. We have a perfect physician, who is in control. He doesn't need x-rays and MRI's. He is all knowing.
Vanessa is worried of course, no one is so strong to not have a raised heart-beat, increased temperature when the thought of something severe occurs. But she know that God is God and he loves her. Nothing she does will ever take that love away and we are ready to face whatever he places in front of us, because He is going to be with us. For all we know it could be a deep muscle spasm. We have many friends, family who are in much deeper issues with health. The point of this is God cares more about us than anything else on the planet. He does not forget us.
He is an interesting thought. We get so busy in our day-to-day life that we forget to include God in our day sometimes. But, God the all knowing and all powerful the One who created everything isn't to busy to hear from you. He is standing by waiting for you to listen and have a conversation with.
The Fearless Factor for today is Luke 12:7 "Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." If God cares about the birds in the sky? How much more does he care about you?

What are we so afraid of on Earth? What does this world have that holds us back from our true potential?
In life we are constantly put to the test. We are asked verbally and non-verbally who we stand for. Who do you stand for? The Fearless-Factor for today is Luke 12:4 "I tell you my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after can do no more."
The fear we have for things that don't matter are the very things that hold us back. We are afraid of talking about God at work because of what HR might say or we don't like the nervousness we get when we try to witness to another. What can they do?
I was at lunch with a friend the other day and we asked the waitress a few questions about Heaven and how to get there and she answer the first few questions but then when the question came on who do you near faith in, she paused, and answered like this. "We aren't allow to talk about it at work , but I guess God" I asked her why she was unable to speak about it at work she said it was something discussed a training. I asked her was the training covering Diversity in the work place? She replied "Yes". I reminded her that Diversity cover Christianity too, not just different lifestyles and other religions. We are covered by the Diversity tolerance training too, not just everybody else. She said that is a good point I am going to bring that up.
Do not be afraid of what limitations the world puts on you. Your God is limit-less. We can not place God in a worldly box and expect him to stay there. The world has limits to what they can tell you and what it can do to you. Do not be afraid of the world? Place your faith in the Creator of the world, whose power and majesty is limit-less. This is where your fear should be!

Fearless-Factor - Judges 6:12 and 23

Are you afraid to do what God asks you to do? What is holding you back? Sometimes when God asks us to do something we are unsure if we are really hearing from God. We ask so many questions that we sometimes miss the great opportunity to do something extraordinary for God. In life only God can transform the ordinary into extraordinary. I have been look back over an opportunity I had to witness and I missed it. I was in line at Lowe's and I felt I was suppose to say something, just a cordial hello, which would have opened the door to speak to this person. Then something happen to me that has never happened before...I opened my mouth and nothing came out. I Trey Ore had nothing to say. My vocal cords froze up and I couldn't speak. For some reason I was afraid to talk to this person. Would this person think I was a freak? What was going to happen to me if I spoke. I walk out of the Lowe's and got in my car and I was so disappointed with myself. Here was an opportunity to speak to a person and possibly witness and I missed it. I sat in my car and thought should I go back in? I struggled with this. Did I truly hear the voice of God telling me to speak to this person. I tell you this story because all of us wonder like Gideon did, is God really wanting to use me. Yes, He wants to use all of us, but we need to be as my good friend Todd Perry puts it "Available". Of course we are afraid to do the things God has called us to do. We are the created and He is the Creator. He knows what we are capable of and what HE is capable of. When we get the chance to do something extraordinary for God, it will be something we can not do on our own. To quote Todd Perry again It will be a "God-Sized project" not a me sized project. But He builds us up first, like a conversation in Lowe's. Now this may seem a bit extreme. You may be thinking to yourself "come on Trey it was a line at Lowe's". Yes, exactly. It was a line at Lowe's, I wasn't going to die, but if I am not obedient with the small things when am I going to advance to the next level. I want to be used. I want a speaking role in God's movie. Are you a Role Player in the movie God is starring in or are you the person just watching the movie from the seats. Are you ready to be a modern-day Gideon? The Fearless-Factor for today is Judges 6:12 and 23 "The Lord is with you, mighty warrior." 23 "Peace, Do not be afraid, You are not going to die." In Christ death has been conquered, there are no consequences when you are being obedient to God. How do you know it is God? Read His Word. Learn God's language and see how He speaks to His people. Fearless-Factor - 2 Chronicles 19:9

What is a joyful heart? What does this have to do with fear?
It is tax time once again. For some it is a frustrating and stressful time, because you may owe taxes. For others it is a time to get a much awaited refund. What does this have to do with fear and a joyful heart?
Well...Here it is. I am one who is blessed enough this year to get a refund. I usually file by the first week in February to get my refund ASAP. This year the refund was rather decent and I need to place my money where my heart is. For many of us it is easy to tithe a couple of hundred dollars a month it is not such a big chunk. But, what do you do when you are blessed with a return and the chunk is a lot bigger? Are you faithful then?
While paying bills and looking to pay credit cards down and other expense off. I first had to tithe on the money received...all of it. When I was wrapping up I noticed that the one bill I wanted to payoff would have to wait, because I wouldn't have the money I needed until next month or so. The amount was the same amount as the tithe check.
What to do... what to do...I was thinking of the things I could do with the large tithe money. My heart wasn't joyful. I was starting to worry and fear began to set in. What if "this happens" or "that happens" what would I do. Then I remembered Matthew 25: 21 and 23 saying "'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'.
Fear began to set in because my faith in God's provisioning was fading. I had already written the check, but it was not with a joyful heart. I began to pray and a Peace came over me. Not your timing...but mine. I wouldn't be able to pay the bill down for another few months. Is that a reason to be unfaithful, just because my timing to pay-off a bill wasn't what God was trying to show me.
Here is the kicker...The refund was a blessing, a Big Blessing from God. So why was I being selfish and unjoyful and unfaithful when it all came from Him.
The Fearless-Factor for today is two verses and yes I know the first is a repeat. But it fits, 1 Samuel 12:24 "But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you." and 2 Chronicles 19:9 "He gave them these orders: "You must serve faithfully and wholeheartedly in the fear of the LORD."
I was about to steal from God over a blessing that He gave me. He redirected my thinking and showed me His timing and His Provisioning. He helped me to serve faithfully and wholehearted, with joy and calmed all of my fears. Be Blessed today for God has something Great planned for you. Keep a watchful eye.

Fearless-Factor - Deuteronomy 20:3

Do you every get afraid of what is ahead? Do you panic before facing certain situations?
The fear of the unknown is common and nothing out of the ordinary for all of us. The final outcome is what makes us worry because we can't see the end result. Think of it like this if we had one dollar left to our name and the mortgage was about to go into foreclosure, the power, water and gas were going to be turned off and you had no food in the cupboard for your family to eat how would you spend it? It wouldn't matter because all roads would lead to the same hopeless result. But, what if you know the numbers for the Big Lottery would you play the lottery if you knew the numbers you picked would win? Of course we would, we all would. If we knew the end result we would take more risk because it wasn't so much of a risk.
God is that winning lottery ticket. He is the victory at the end. He is the Hope during a hopeless time. The Fearless-Factor for today is Deuteronomy 20:3-4 "He shall say: "Hear, O Israel, today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not be terrified or give way to panic before them. 4 For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory."
God is giving us the victory over the daily challenges. Ask Him to go with you to strengthen your faith in when He is able to do in your life.

Fearless-Factor - Psalm 25:5

Does today scare you? Are you worried about what today or tomorrow might bring? Where is your hope?
Hope...what does it really mean? When we place our Hope in the Lord what does this mean? Hope as Webster's defines it means to desire with expectation of obtainment or to expect with confidence. As a Christian we place our Hope in Jesus Christ. Our hope for the day is that the Lord will bless the situation we are facing and wash away the fear that the situation may hold. Not always as easy for us to receive on a daily basis.
When we say something like "I hope this day gets better" we are taking the word Hope out of context if we don't believe it. If you are placing your Hope in Jesus Christ, you are expecting the obtainment and doing so with confidence. The same is with when you pray. When we pray we are petitioning Lord Jesus to intervene on our behalf. We are asking Jesus Christ to step in and we are doing it with confidence. Or are we?
What happens when our prays are not answered in our timing? Do we lose hope, do we lose our confidence. We were expecting God to answer our pray in our timing the way we thought it should have been answered. Why do we think this way, do we know best? We are the created, not the Creator.
The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalms 25:5 "Guide me in your truth and teach me for you are God My Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."
The Psalmist wasn't giving God a time table. He placed his Hope in God all day long and asked for God to guide him and teach him. Bad things might happen, but that don't mean we are to lose hope in the Salvation we have. God is teaching us and helping us grow to make it through harder times.
Where is your Hope when you are worried and afraid? Are you learning from the experience? What is God teaching you today?

Fearless-Factor - Acts 9:27

Does your past hold you back? Does who you were haunt who you are today? Are others afraid of the old you?
We all have a past. We all have and had sins in our lives that others remember. The hardest people in life to witness to are your old friends and family. They are the ones that need to see the major change in your life, not just be told about it.
When I think of pasts I don't just think of my own, I remember a man whose past was so bad he changed his name in some circles. Ever hear of a man named Saul? He was responsible for many death's of Christian believers. He was even there when the Jewish people stoned Stephen...to the death. If anyone had a past it was him. He even called himself the "Chief of Sinners" in 1 Timothy 1:15.
The difference with Saul who was also named Paul, is that he put his changed life out there for others to see. He didn't just tell people he was a changed man...He showed them. In Acts 9:26-28 is the story of how the body of believers were afraid of Paul and were hesitant of accepting him. Acts 9:26 When he came to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he really was a disciple. 27 But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus. 28 So Saul stayed with them and moved about freely in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.

Are you afraid of speaking the gospel? Are you worried the words will not come out right? Be encouraged! We all have thought of the what if. What if I mess this up? What if I say the wrong thing or quote the wrong scripture? If I mess up will this person ever be saved? The Fearless-Factor for today is Ephesians 6:19 "Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel," When we are going out to share the word PRAY for the right words, the right timing, and the right heart, then ask your brothers and sister in Christ to pray. Ask them to pray for the right words. When we seek His guidance first we can be fearless in the fact He is guiding our path. You may just be a mustard seed planter or the one to lead that person to Christ. Either way if you are obedient, you have been successful in the task God has placed before you. Are you afraid to die for what you believe? What if you were a Christian in another country? Would you be less bold? I was watching a video on Godtube and it made me think. How bold would I be in that situation. Would I be ready in my faith to go to be with Jesus right now? There are people in other countries that face this very thing daily and we in the United States are afraid to mention Jesus for the simply fear that people will not like us or look at us differently. The Fearless-Factor for today is Psalms 23:4 "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." Fearless-Factor - Joshua 10:25

Are you afraid of the battle ahead? Does the Daily grind have you defeated already?
God is the perfect sources of peace. When life hands you the peaks and valleys of the typical day, God is still with you. When you are discouraged or afraid God is still with you. When the battle of the day has you almost defeated, God is there.
The Fearless-Factor for today is Joshua 10:25 "Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you are going to fight."
Do not be afraid if the day ahead is full of attacks from the enemy. Do not be discouraged if the day doesn't go as planned. Be Strong because He is your Strength. Be Courageous because He is with you. The Lord will defeat all of your enemies one by one. You will be able to place your feet on the neck of your fears, just as Joshua had his men place their feet on the neck of the enemy.
Conquering fear is when you take your fears to the Lord and He places those fear at your feet to conquer. This can only be done with His Divine help. Take your fears to the Lord and he will assist you in defeating them one by one. We will be handed new fears daily in the form of daily tasks, quotas, distractions, and even just life events in general. Jesus Christ is the perfect task master. Take your discouragement and fears to Him and he will resolve your worry. He will guide you every step of the way.

Fearless-Factor - Mark 4:40

What is it to be Fearless? How can one truly be without fear?
To be Fearless one must have complete protection from every attack that they may come in contact with. At the same time they must also have Faith in the Protection that they have.
This is not a product you can purchase at Wal-Mart or the Bass Pro Shop. It is not a compilation of different types of protection available at different stores. It can only be found by doing one of the most elementary things we know how to do...Read. How can one be fearless? By Reading the Word of God, The Bible. The Fearless-Factor is a great daily reminder of what the Word says on Fear, but there are more weapons in this Godly Book more than I could ever put in a daily devotion.
How can one truly be without fear? By taking the Word of God and reading it daily. Fear is a lack of Faith in a particular area of your life. We are all Brave with some areas of fears. Some are Not afraid of snakes, bees, the dark, new experiences, new daily challenges or even talking in front of people. Others are so terrified of these very same things, they would almost rather die than to experience these events. Having no fear of one thing doesn't make one any better than the other, it is they have just conquered they fear.
Where is your fear? What is your Fear? When do you Fear it? Now is your chance to take charge of your fears. Even the Disciples had fear.
The Fearless Factor for today is Mark 4:40 "He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" Jesus was explaining to the disciples that fear comes from a lack of faith. After all of this time with Christ did they still have no faith. Faith does take time to build, why not start right now. If you are a Child of God you have NOTHING to Fear. Place your Faith in HIM and Him Alone.

Fearless-Factor - Ephesians 3:13

Does the enemy scare you? Are you afraid of what might happen? We are attacked everyday by the enemy. Did you know that the more you are doing for Christ the more of a threat you are to the enemy. It's true! The more often you advance the case for Christ, the more the enemy advances on you. Take a moment to think. Think about a time when you truly prayed on a situation and heard the voice of God and took action. Was there ever opposition to what you were doing? Yes...Every-time. Some of the time it is just plain old us. We distract ourselves. The daily hustle and bustle of our life is one tool the enemy uses to slow ourselves down from God's will and purpose. We allow other distractions (personal distractions) get in the way. Other times it is major life distractions, for Paul one life distraction was jail. How discouraging do you think it was to be doing the very thing the Creator tells you to do and you are later thrown in jail. How many of us would continue to share the Gospel if we thought we would be thrown in jail? I would like to think I would. By God's grace we don't live in a time like that anymore...or do we? People are killed everyday for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it just doesn't make it on the news. We in the U.S. don't have the threat of jail or death and we still are quiet about Christ. We as a nation are afraid because we feel out numbered by non-believers or quiet Christians. The Fearless-Factor for today is Ephesians 3:12-13 12 "In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. 13 I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory." Paul knew that his being in jail would be a distraction to other believers and discourage them from doing what God had called them to do. Did you know that in was in prison that Paul wrote most of his letters. The enemy thought he could shut Paul up by having him placed in jail. The opposite happened, God used this time to allow Paul to hear from God and write what he wanted His People to hear. We are attacked everyday by the enemy. Fearless-Factor - 2 Chronicles 32:7

How do you approach an attack by the enemy? How do you reacts when the world seems to be against you? 2 Chronicles 32:1-22 tells a story of King Hezekiah and his army of Godly men who were out severely out numbered and very discouraged. These are the words King Hezekiah said "6 He appointed military officers over the people and assembled them before him in the square at the city gate and encouraged them with these words: 7 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. 8 With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles." And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.

Fearless-Factor - 2 Corinthians 12:20

Do you fear for the salvation of others? Do you keep your sins to yourself? Are you afraid that others may learn of your sins? Paul had the same feeling when writing to the people of Corinth. He was about to travel to see them for a third time when he felt burdened. He felt that after speaking to them twice already that they still were not getting the point of the message. Paul goes on to say 19"Have you been thinking all along that we have been defending ourselves to you? We have been speaking in the sight of God as those in Christ; and everything we do, dear friends, is for your strengthening. 20 For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder. 21I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged." Paul was concerned of the back-sliding in Corinth. He had been there twice and now he was feeling that the message he was sharing wasn't been truly understood. That when he got back they would not be progressing but regressing. Were they not truly aware of what they were doing? This makes me think of Accountability. Do you have accountability? We are only accountable to God for our sins and only He can forgive us. Here is my challenge to you, to find a Brother in Christ to help hold you accountable. We are all sinners, and we sin practically every day. If we have a Brother in Christ to help us stay in check, it will not eliminate the sinning in our lives, but think of it like this, when we confess the sins in our life to God it is a private and personal conversation with just the Creator. Do you want to have to tell a friend or a Brother about what you have just done. The most of us are humbled enough to confess all of our sins to the Father, but do we really want our friends or Brothers in Christ to know our sins also. To verbalize the sin is difficult, especially to a friend because it causes shame, embarrassment, and the reality check of our sin and we are more likely to stop from doing it again. This will only work if you are completely honest. This accountability partner can assist you in growing in Christ, are you willing to humble yourself? Are you afraid to do what in the world's eye is unpopular? Do you care about what man thinks or what God thinks? As I finished reading Tony Dungy's book "Quiet Strength" one statement rung in my head. "He didn't call me to be successful, He called me to be Faithful." Wow, what a statement. We all want to be successful in life in everything we do. As a salesperson, I want to be the best in my division, the best in the company. I have shared in those accomplishments over my 10 years in telecom. I have been #1, I have been #2, I have also been #76. I have found that being #2 was always the hardest. I was so close but missed the mark and someone else got the Rolex, The Car, the Big Bonus. Some would think that being #76 would be the worse, the fact is there is nowhere to go but up. Being #1 is great but after you accomplish this feat, what is your next challenge? I want to be successful in all I do, but not at the expense of being unfaithful. I have looked back on my short, but peak and valley career and seen how God has blessed ever moment, the good and the bad. I was never #1 when the pay was ridiculously high and never last when the pay was ridiculously low. I have had a balanced career. This is a blessing, because I never was the Rock Star and never so low that life was scary. I am more focused now on staying the course. I have friends who think a daily bible verse is odd. I have friend who think it is great. The truth is the daily verse isn't so much for others to read as it is for others to hold me accountable to dive into the word. We are called to do one think, share the Good News. If we share the Good News on a daily basis we are being faithful, and success with follow as God sees fit. I will trade in success for faithfulness any day. Only one of these efforts will God say "Well done my good and faithful servant." Which will you be? Do you think God will care how big our home is or how many people you open your home to? The Fearless Factor for today is 1 Samuel 12:24 "But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you."

Does your Daily walk with Christ or the lack there of Discourage you? Do you feel that God won't you use because you are ordinary?
Have I got Great News for you. You are the one God is waiting on. God doesn't need people who are ready to take on the world. God needs people who can't take on the world. He uses men that understand that when these miraculous things happen and work out, it wasn't something they did personally, It Was God. The men in my Bible Study on Thursdays constantly mention that God doesn't call the equipped, he equips the called. If you are the called, unequipped and ordinary, you could be next. How exciting!!!
Are you ready? Are you Willing? Are you obedient to do what God has called you to do? Then prepare yourself for the Journey of a Lifetime, because that is how long this trip will last. Enjoy the ride and Tell somebody how Awesome God is, Tell somebody what God has done in your life. Be open to sharing His Greatness and the opportunities will begin to open. You don't have to search for places for God to use you, He is going to use you right where you are. So Be Ready.
Don't be discouraged if the opportunities don't seem extravagant, or if they don't come constantly. Most importantly don't be discouraged if the opportunity doesn't always go the way you thought it should. Mistakes make you human and real to others. Stay the Course, Walk the Walk, and be a lifelong witness.

Do you fear pain? Do you fear heartache? How do you deal with this fear? Troubles come in many different ways. Life can throw many obstacles in your way to hold you back from your true potential. Our fear of failure, can be one of the biggest. As a child we all have the BIG Dreams that seem so easy to reach because life hasn't thrown to many things at us. As we get older, we start to see things aren't always as easy as we would like them to be. Life has gone from playing with your dad in the back-yard wanted to go pro, imaginary friends, G.I.Joe and Star Wars, to looking to find where you fit in. Our dreams start to fade and life begins to carry us away from what life is all about, Living life to the fullest. We look back and remember and feel the heartache of lost dreams. We then look ahead and are afraid to take the chances with the opportunities life offers. We are afraid of the pain that will accompany a possible failed effort. God doesn't want us to think about missed dreams and opportunities. If we make Christ our main focus, there is never a missed opportunity, just a new day to achieve it. God made all things on earth to remind us of simple lessons. Each day is like the beach. We can make castles and sand mermaids, even write in the sand, but God also created the moon which controls the tide and wipes the slate clean everyday. Life is what you make it. We can sit in the side lines and be a spectator OR we can allow to let God bless our lives now. God wants to give us the desires of our hearts. He wants us to enjoy the life He has given us. Don't be afraid of the opportunities that God places before us. Heaven is going to be great, but God wants us to enjoy life now. This is our test run for Eternity. Fearless-Factor - Isaiah 12:2

Do you every wonder if God is with you? Do you ever feel alone?
Have you accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life? I pray the answer is yes, if not, see the prayer at the bottom of this email. My children tell me often they don't like being alone. I tell them they are never alone. That even when a friend or a parent isn't visible, God is always present. Jesus Christ is your Savior the moment you ask Him in your heart. The moment you ask Him in He is there forever. Jesus/The Holy Spirit/God doesn't visit in us...He LIVES in you. There is a special place he dwells in you and nothing can take Him away.
When you are feeling blue, down on your luck, alone, afraid, angry, confused. He is always there. Put your Trust in Him. God is your Salvation, your Strength, and the Reason why we can hold our heads up high. Jesus Christ is your Salvation. So do not let the things of this world, take your focus off of Him.

Fearless-Factor - Proverbs 14:16

Many things in life seem to direct our decisions. What influences your daily walk? What's on your mind? Do you just let it out without thinking?
The Fearless Factor for today is Proverb 14:16 "A wise man fears the Lord and shuns evil, but a fool is hotheaded and reckless."
Sammy Davis has a song, "What kind of fool am I?". What kind of fool am I, one that lets things get to him? Have you ever had someone speak to you about something and you just couldn't shake it from your mind and just spoke from the flesh and ended up regretting it? The Bible talks about how a fool is hotheaded and reckless. How can we rid ourselves from this nature of thinking?
Take it to the Lord. Take a moment and talk to a counselor. Not one you have to pay for, the one who is always listening, The Mighty Counselor, Jesus Christ. Proverb 14:16 talks about a wise man fears the Lord. I am not always so concerned about what people think of me but what would God think of me. This causes me to think about what am I about to do. Taking just a moment to think can help you shun the evil your about to do. Evil isn't just a bad deed, it can be as simple as making a brother in Christ or a non-believer feel bad or uncomfortable. This would be somewhat reckless, because you weren't thinking before speak. The hotheadedness is the act of flying off your seat to react to a situation. I don't think of myself as hotheaded as much as I am hard-headed.
Take a moment to think before you speak "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." - Ephesians 4:29.

Fear causes many things. For some it can cause upset-stomachs, high blood pressure, nervousness, headaches. This sounds like a Pepto commercial. But seriously fear has an effect on our lives. When your fear sets in how do you handle it? The Fearless Factor for today is Proverbs 9:10 "The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." We all go to a doctor when we are ill. Why no go to God in trouble times instead of stressing over it, He is The Great Physician. The Fear of the Lord in one way is an understanding of His Majesty and who He is. He is the Almighty. There isn't one thing in your life that God can not cure, fix, or restore. The beginning of wisdom is to know the source. The I AM is the Creator of all things and He is the Beginning and The End. If He alone know all Beginnings and knows how things will all end, wouldn't it be wise to seek his guidance on issues that cause you fear, anxiety, depression, nervousness, bitterness, worry, anger, and even joy. When troubles come and they will, what can worrying about it do other than send you to the drug store for a bottle of the pink stuff. Fearless-Factor - Revelation 1:7

Are you afraid to stand take a stand for God? Are you afraid of what others may think of you? I had lunch with an old friend the other day. During our lunch he started to mention the many struggles he was facing. This really began to take me off guard because this particular friend has always been one who seemed to have it all under control, even in high school. After listening to him, he asked my opinion on what to do. Then I thought to myself, "What would I do?" I knew exactly what I would do. I would get on my knees and pray. So I answered, "I would pray about it". You would have thought I was speaking fluent Latin or Aramaic, because he had no clue what I was talking about. His reply was "well yeah but I need to do something myself, I can't just pray about. That may work for you but I need to know what to do." I told him he should pray for peace in the right situation. God would give him peace for the right opportunity. He still didn't get it. He is one of the most intellectual people I know and he was clueless. I know for a fact that I don't have all of the answers to life, but I know who does. I just finished reading a wonderful book call I am not, but I know I AM. What an eye opener, by the way. He made his situation seem so uncontrollable and it may seem to be that way, because he doesn't know the I AM. I began to speak to my friend in a way he has never heard me speak. I think I scared him. I hope not their is so much more I would like to tell him. His life seems to be spinning and he thinks he has the knowledge and power to stop his own tailspin. He was not looking for the TRUTH from me, he was looking for a motivational self-help pick me up. The typical you'll figure it out, you're a smart guy. The only problem is we can't help ourselves, only One can and that is Christ. Don't be afraid to ask God for help He will always be there to help. I am reminded of a movie with Billy Bob Thornton School for Scandrels. There is a moment in the movie when asked the guys in his class who has ever read a self-help book. Every guy there raises their hand. His reply was something like, The reason your can't help yourself, is because yourself stinks. He used other wording but the point is still there. We can't help ourselves, we are helpless. If we could help ourselves we wouldn't need God or a Savior. The Fearless Factor for today is Revelation 1:7 "Do not be afraid, I am the First and the Last". God has been with you from the beginning and will stick with you till the end. People may come and friends my go, but God will always be right by your side. Go tell someone about your Best Friend. Fearless-Factor - Genesis 28:15

Where is your comfort and peace? Are you able to place your worries at the foot of the cross even in your dreams? Every night either my wife or I say prayers with the children. They all have their own way or routines to help them fall asleep. For my son, it is a bit more than a routine than other children I know. For Joshua, it is a way of life or death to him. Joshua has his OCD needs, the pillows in the right place, his Pokemon under the pillow, the cabin doors shut, the blinds closed but must me face up and not down. His pajamas off and folded in a ball near him. We say his prayers like we always do, then he needs to hear five special things that make him feel safe, then he taps his code on the cd player and music slowly plays him to sleep. But, he always has one more thing he has to hear. "Mom...Dad, what about my nightmares, pray about my nightmares" He needs us to say one more pray. I special prayer that helps him in the dark of night. "Dear Lord, Please don't let Joshua have bad dreams or nightmares, In Jesus Name, Amen." He needs to hear that God is watching over him even in his dreams. Amazing that a 10 year old is comforted by just 15 words. How many words does it take to give you peace at night? We all have nightmares, but have you given them over to the one who in Acts 2:17 says "your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams." It is great to see my son understand the importance of turning everything over to God, even our dreams.
The Fearless Factor for today is Genesis 28:15 "I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."
This verse to my son means I am with you every single night. I will never leave you. I will always be here with you in this comfortable place you call home. I will not leave until I have completed my promise to you. What chance do nightmares have against the Almighty? What haunts you at night? Have you given it to Him yet?

Fearless-Factor - Jeremiah 5:22

What scares us? What is it that makes us afraid of certain situations?
This past week, my family went on a cruise with several other families from church. During one of the days the men took the older children on a Jeep and snorkeling adventure through Cozumel, Mexico, while our wives took the younger ones to the beach. While on the Jeep adventure we were able to enjoy another part of God's beautiful creation. After we visited a crocodile swamp we were headed to our snorkeling spot a few miles down the beach. However, the snorkeling adventure for some became an adventure of life or death in their minds.
As the group began to venture out into the water, my son Joshua and I began to venture out as well. We took our time because this was Joshua's first time snorkeling and he had just began to swim the past summer. When we past the point of touching the bottom for myself, my son began to freak out to the point that he was placing both off us in danger because as I am an okay swimmer, I am not a lifeguard. He began to panic, due to the remembrance of a comment another child made minutes before arriving at the snorkeling spot. The comment was...I hope we get to see some SHARKS. Yes, my 9 yr old remembered that sharks live in the water, and he that he would make a nice tasty treat.
He began to panic, kicking and slapping knocking my mask off and my snorkel. I finally got him to relax long enough to ask him one question. "Joshua, who created all of this water?" His reply, "God". "Did you know that God cares more about you than he does all of this water. He is not going to let anything happen to us." With that thought in his head, he began to listen to my instruction and we enjoyed a brief snorkeling adventure, on the way back to shore of course.
I shared with you this personal story, because God showed me something while in one of the Almighty's vast seas. God cares more about us than all of His other creations. What are we so scared of?
The Fearless Factor is Jeremiah 5:22 "Should you not fear me?" declares the LORD. "Should you not tremble in my presence? I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross. The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it."
My Nina Uhlenbrock (Grandmother on my Mother's side) once told me she loves watching the waves. She said "it reminded me that God was constantly holding the waves back." He could allow the waves to keep rushing the land but God is in control of all things even the seas. If you allow Him to lead you in your life imagine the possibilities.

Fearless-Factor - Psalm 91:5

Do you feel small? Do you ever feel that your just are not big enough for the tasks ahead?
This morning around 4:30 I woke up with my daughter Madison to watch The Quadrantid meteor shower. My daughter likes to view the heavens with me. This is special father daughter time. While looking at the stars, my daughter told me that the stars make a smiling face at her. I told her that they were excited that she took the time to look at them. That God created all these stars just for us to see. The stars are there for more than just a perfect spectacles of dots. They are there to provide light in the darkness. We have the sun during the day and the moon at night but God also gave us the stars to provide light to a dark world. I enjoy looking at the stars. It reminds me of just how small I am and how Big God is.
When we were looking at the stars I stepped away to get Madison another blanket when she said Daddy wait I don't want to be alone in the dark. I told her we are never alone and God doesn't want us to fear anything.
The Fearless Factor for today is Psalm 91:5 "You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day."
This Psalm talks about being in the Shadow of the Almighty. God is so Big and casts a Bigger shadow, enough to cover all of us in it. The night has many terrors and our imagination can take control, but it is God who offers us light even in the darkest night.

Fearless-Factor - Hebrews 11:7

What are you willing to do for your Faith? What steps are you willing to follow?
Faith is the belief of things unseen. Faith is the ability to do something when the reward is no visible.
Noah is a great example, Flood what is a flood? Rain what is rain? Noah warned the people of the coming flood and they looked at him like he was crazy. Noah had faith in what God told him and in what he was suppose to do. This task took years to do and he faith kept him on task.
The Fearless Factor for today is Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
Faith and fear go side by side. Fear is the Lack of Faith. Faith is being fearless, know God is in control.
